This would be my second fountain pen, my first being a cheap-o that I got to get free shipping on a larger
This is the smoothest writing fountain pen with a fine point.
The fine point on this pen is perfect for everyday writing
I've only cleaned the nib once due a mixture of my lack of experience and having somebody else try it who handled it like a cheap ball-point and it still works pretty well
Writing is crisp and fairly effortless for a fine point pen.
I like how it feels in my hand, I like the way it looks, and I love the smooth flow of ink.
The only issue is that it can be somewhat temperamental with the ink plugging up, especially after changing cartridges or not writing for a bit, and trying to clear blockages can easily result in a big mess o' ink everywhere.

Terrible ink flow and a nib that just won't keep straight.
Super-smooth nib, great ink flow - even with cartridges -
Cheap starter pen, if does bleed a little bit sometimes but not enoigj to ever stop using it.
I am a bit of a pen snob, collector, appreciator... and this pen loves up to all the positive reviews
Writes smooth, puts down ink well, but it does leak a bit
The Pilot 78g used to be my go to cheap fountain pen, but this writes every bit as well, is in a much nicer body, and is only a couple bucks more
In an age of automatic digital connected wearable voice activated everything, there's something almost primally satisfying about writing on real paper with a pen that requires a little bit of effort and skill but rewards you with a much better experience if you're willing to try
I've used it for a couple of months now and have had no issues with the nib becoming clogged or needing a cleaning (yet).FYI in the picture 1 = 60lb card stock, 2= recycled post-it note, 3= index card, 4= lightweight cream copy paper
However my issues and more so your issues with this pen will be invisible
The only issue I've had is the nib leaking and an unfortunate mishap with the converter.
But again, was hoping this wasn't a fountain pen issue, rather a cheap fountain pen issue
This pen leaked a little in the beginning, then started to leak a lot
It sometimes even leaks a little from the force exerted by opening the cap
The pen does leak a little but perhaps it's because I don't write often
