However, the problems arise when it has to work with the right earbud.
Although the two earbuds link up quickly and work well overall, the right earbud tends to spontaneously lose connection after roughly twenty to thirty minutes of constant use.
Volume on the right (slave) earbud was often different from the left
However, connection issues with the right earbud made them pretty much unusable
Also...I've been consistently having the connection issues with the right earbud
Disappointing because my cheap $40 wireless ear buds are completely silent and you'd never know I was listening to anything
The sound in the right ear cuts in and out intermittently, even after firmware update
The only time I ever have the right ear (slave) drop is when my phone is in my
However, the rubber tips always end up hurting my ears after a while, so I had a few pairs of Comply Foam tips sitting around (TX-500s and some TSX-400s) and thought I'd give those a try
Out the box, the signal does drop from the right ear a lot
I would not recommend these for running as they may bounce out of the ear unless maybe you had a headband and, then maybe they'll stay and you can run
Also, I love the feature that allows you to prioritize stable connection
Just 15 minutes in the case will give the buds 75 more minutes of life which is a nice feature.
Sound quality is good, the noise cancellation works well, particularly the feature that allows some sounds, e.g. voice, to pass though noise cancellation
The noise cancelling is as good as on the wired version described above, so that was a positive.
Also, this has always happened when the earbuds are set to prefer sound quality
Beside the industrial design and the audio performance, they are the worse truly wireless earbuds I tried
The Sony True Wireless earbuds are pretty awesome and if you are willing to pay a little more for them, you will not be disappointed.
I will continue to enjoy these earbuds, so far I’ve been sitting here for about 2 hours and haven’t lost connection
Although the two earbuds link up quickly and work well overall, the right earbud tends to spontaneously lose connection after roughly twenty to thirty minutes of constant use.
I have been very pleased with these exceptional ear buds
Disappointing because my cheap $40 wireless ear buds are completely silent and you'd never know I was listening to anything
The noise cancelling needs to be improved and the bluetooth connection to the buds also needs some adjustment the connection keeps disconnecting from the right bud and it takes around 15 min to reconnect.
I didn't notice issues with the Bluetooth connection or the connection between left (master) and right (slave) buds
These were my first earbuds with rubber tips and the bottom line is, I absolutely hate ear buds with rubber tips
They sit on my desk collecting dust and most of the time I reach for a cheap $50 pair of
Pretty sure a defective or refurbished pair was sent for the price of new one.1) DEAD connectivity and sound on startup, 2) intermittent bluetooth connection, 3
I finally removed a Bluetooth speaker I hard paired and then the buds paired
I don't know if I just got a good pair or what the deal is
This is my first pair of wireless headphones without any cord and I love them
The right bud will constantly lose the signal (at least a few times per minute)
Furthermore, many times the signal to the right headphone will drop and fail to reconnect
The noise cancelling is as good as on the wired version described above, so that was a positive.
However, in the app there is an option to prioritize a better signal over sound quality and once you check that it wouldn't drop as much...but it still does occasionally, I said to myself I could deal with the occasional right ear signal
The only positive I find is that their comfortable in the ear and their light weight
I always make sure to charge the case and that they're connected and the little automated voice will say the battery level is high so I can only assume that these have the worst battery life I have ever seen in a pair of headphones, truly wireless or otherwise-the material of these buds is fine, but the charging case they came with is of poor quality
Pairing to a computer was a bit of a pain, but I did get it to work after a quick YouTube searchCons:-laughably poor battery life
The only positive I find is that their comfortable in the ear and their light weight
I was aware of the poor battery life even before the purchase but what I really hate is that it hardly ever connects to my iPhone
Noise cancellation wasn't really as good and battery life is very short about 1 hour in continuous usage.
: a lot of reviews have noted that the two headphones lose connection to each other
Like I said, I fly a lot and if these could just be extended to something like 4 to 4 1/2 hours of play time, then these would be just fine, but the current time is just not enough for a typical flight
While the Sonys are pretty comfortable when worn loosely, you lose a lot of audio quality when worn this way
No earbuds are going to be as good as over-the-ear noise cancelling heaphones, but I used them a lot on airplanes, in airports, while mowing the lawn, exercising, etc, and they isolate very nicely from droning sounds and background noises, and the ambient sound mode is also very good.
The right ear bud always lose connection, a lot of time ends up with only left ear has sound, right ear has no sound
Doesn't work well with MacBook pro (cuts out all the time - may be Apple issue), Relatively short battery life, MAJOR delay while watching video (due to method by which the second headphone connects to the first).Pretty much unusable for video
The only reason for the 4 star is the limited battery run time
The right ear piece was cutting off intermittently, and some times would sound severely distorted.
Noise cancellation: not the bestConnection: not the best, a few times it drops connection
I've had multiple Bluetooth headphones (several high end), no one ever blamed the time it takes to send the signal to the headphones
Doesn't work well with MacBook pro (cuts out all the time - may be Apple issue), Relatively short battery life, MAJOR delay while watching video (due to method by which the second headphone connects to the first).Pretty much unusable for video
My biggest complaint is definetily the delay when watching video
I would not recommend these for running as they may bounce out of the ear unless maybe you had a headband and, then maybe they'll stay and you can run
The noise cancelling is as good as on the wired version described above, so that was a positive.
