One of the very best JRPG's to come out this year, you have every reason to pick up Cold Steel 2 if you consider yourself a fan of the genre
Great game so far a would recommend it to anyone who loves jrpg’s
But after those two, this year hasn't had a good JRPG till this
This is a fantastic JRPG , actually one of the few turn-based in recent years
Overall I would fully recommend this game, and its predecessor, to anyone looking for a solid modern day JRPG experience that has a touch of the old school magic in the mix
Really if you like JRPGs, there haven't been a lot of good ones this year

If you love jrpgs and haven't played trails of cold steel 1, you're missing out.[...]This is a sequel to that amazing game, and if you have played the first, this is a must buy.

I can't praise this series enough for it's incredible story and great cast of characters

Even in situations as mundane as standard battles with trash mobs on the field, the soundtrack shines through as one of the game's greatest strengths

Also if you do your orbments right, you can get some really overpowered characters very easily

I highly recommend Cold Steel 2, BUT you should without question play through Cold Steel 1 before picking up 2, as it's very much a direct sequel that hits the ground running.
If you enjoyed Trails of Cold Steel 1, you will definitely enjoy this one too
If you love Trails of cold steel 1, you'll love this one too.
If you are a fan of JRPGs, then play the original Trails of Cold Steel first
