Love how great this works for using my phone for navigation

The dash location was a simple hard plastic flat surface that should have been fully adequate to facilitate good adhesion

The adhesive is really strong and holds my iphone with a case on it perfectly stuck to my radio panel

The adhesive is not good, and it will not stay on the dash.

It doesn't block the vent so that it heats up in the winter and is cold in the summer, but you aren't with the vent clip holders.

I'd be sure to check your leather, and if it's deep, gritty, and riveted, go with the vent clip instead.

There are several thoughtful things included in the box, including an alcohol wiping pad, an extra 3M adhesive tape, and clear iPhone protector pads which make removing the metal pad a simple deal that won't scratch the phone back
