It works just as expected, and the price is reasonable.
Bought this because my new computer didn't have a cf card slot, I tested this with a few memories and work as expected.
Works as expected, nice little blue lights....stoke on it
Through about 5 months of use, working as expected, speeds are acceptable, no complains from a pro photographer uses it to download thousands of photos
The reader is fast and the manufacturing of the product appears to be of good quality
It worked for me for a long time, but I was so confused as to why it wasn't going faster when I would download several GB of photos from my very fast Compact Flash cards
Great quality and very nice design, and it is cheaper than USB2.0 card reader, but this is USB3.0!!
It works perfect for me and the quality is good I am looking for more of these products for canon
Trascend makes good quality products at sensible prices
I saw someone posted a couple of years ago that this device does not work with SDXC 64GB cards, well I just put that post to the test and mines works great, and it's super fast
Its SD write speed is very slow (12.9 MB/s)
Got average solid stable 90mb/s transfer speed from my microSD to PC.fast transfer speed
Works as advertised and blazing fast with a USB 3.0 port
Works as advertised under Linux; tested micro SD and SDHC.

The USB 3.0 connection works as advertised - and pictures from my Cannon 5D flow much, much faster into my computer than ever before
make sure you have fast cards or else you will be blaming the product.
Total waste.=====Update - I contacted Transcend to let the company it has a defective product and found the customer service to be good - they replaced the defective one with a working one.
Awesome product at a great price and very fast shipping
Glossy casing and small form factor made it feel not a cheap product.
Great product specially for CF card as a deep compartment
The Transcend USB 3.0 Super Speed Multi-Card reader would not transfer/convert any of my Sandisk CF video files without corrupting them
--------------------------Just tried to use my Transcend USB 3.0 super speed multi-card reader for the first time and discovered it's not working
Windows 7 seems to always have slower transfer speeds than OSX, but that is not dependent on what card reader I'm using.
USB devices' speeds can be really hit or miss, and I haven't used this on USB 3.0 yet, but it is, without a doubt, the fastest USB 2.0 reader I've ever used.
My bigger IOGEAR USB 2.0 card reader was more costly at slower speeds.
Besides the cheap plastic build that you'd expect with any other cheap, chinese-manufactured electronic device, the internals are not meant to last longer than a few years
It is a two piece equipment (the reader and the short transmission cable) and I had no issues connecting the device as well as transferring my files
It is backward compatible with USB 2.0My laptop does not have a USB 3.0 port, and this device is backward compatible with my laptop.3.
It's a handy little device to have as a mobile card reader, and is very fast at reading USB 3.0 speeds are no problem.
Isn't helpful if your device doesn't offer USB 3.0 like my old macbook
I use this for compact flash cards, and I recommend it because the slot you insert the card into is much deeper than some other readers
I need it for my Compact Flash card and it worked great
I went through several cheap card readers for reading Compact Flash cards from my camera.
I use this card reader with very fast SD and Compact Flash cards and it transfers very quickly
Fails completely with SD cards (read errors, forced filesystem dismounts, etc)Initially I suspected that the reader was making poor contact with the pads on the SD card
seams slow compared to built-in sd card reader in macbook pro.
It worked for me for a long time, but I was so confused as to why it wasn't going faster when I would download several GB of photos from my very fast Compact Flash cards
and it is blazing fast compared to my other 2.0 card readers
Came super fast, was not very expensive (compared to every other camera thing!) and works really well
I am not able to test other cards or the speeds, but can say it works as I expected it to.

So this small light cheap plastic box sits goofy on end of a inflexible cable.--Cord quality is about as crummy as it
Just as fast as I was hoping it would be using a USB 3.0 socket.
It's made out of hard plastic and comes with a 15" USB 3.0 cable.
Today I lost hours of picture taking because after putting the card in, the system hung and I pulled out the card
Lost countless hours of valuable computer time ($100.00) an hour billable
