When I got the headphones, I was confused as to why music sounded so distant and faint through them
Great earphones with superb sound and details, but since that's not the only criteria for a good product, these things prevent this awesome product from getting a 5-stars rating (yes, I knew about the first one before purchasing):1
My criteria was first and formost sound (had to be flat enough to be useful as a tool and detailed enough that I enjoyed listening to them), then comfort (these did take a minute to break
There are many reviews you will find that can get into the intimate details of sound quality
n’t want to disturb or be disturbed by anyone around you
They are possibly the BEST sounding wireless headphones on the market (with ANC off)
Overall the sound is very impressive and in my opinion is the best sounding wireless headphone available in 2018.If you’re like me and you want a minimalistic wireless headphone without compromising on compressed audio, then this is absolutely the headphone for you
Note that I have the well regarded Sony 1000x wireless ANC headphones sitting right here to compare with the PX
Pros:Best sounding wireless headphones out there - period
Bear in mind that there are being called the best sounding wireless headphones you can buy at the moment so my expectations where high
That said, the ability to fine tune noise canceling strength to suit your surroundings and allow voices to pass through while listening to music is a cool and welcome feature
When I got the headphones, I was confused as to why music sounded so distant and faint through them
One of the cool features of these headphones is the ability to automatically pause the music if you remove the headset and resume when you put it back on.
They both have good Active Noise Cancellation features - so I am only going to focus on my impression of sound quality
There are some minor not-so-good features such as the need for a one use app, but that’s hardly unique to these phones
I tested them for several weeks with a range of music from contemporary jazz (Gregory Porter, Carmen Lundy), metal (Metallica, Type O Negative), shoegaze (My Bloody Valentine), post-punk (XTC), etc.

Sound quality: 10/10There's no way around it: these headphones are the best sounding Bluetooth set on the market at this price point, and it's clear to me why B&W took so long to bring it to market
They are the best sounding Bluetooth headphones I’ve heard and it’s not even close.
Sony and Bose rivalling levels of noise cancellation would be welcomed
The top three (Bose, Sony, and B&W) are so close to each
I don’t want to suggest it was boring, just not as good as the 550’s or PX’s
Noise cancelling, though excellent and gets the job done, is not as good as Bose or Sony
My original 1000X's right arm developed a crack and eventually snapped right off and despite claims online that Sony has addressed the issue with a different type of plastic on the 1000XM2's, the plastic doesn't seem sturdy enough or reinforced enough to support the loads at the joints where the cracking happens (just compare the hinge joints and arms of the Bose Quiet Comfort II's to see what "confidence-inspiring" plastic looks and feels
Nice looking and sounding but just so uncomfortable on my huge skull
Heavy headphones and the sound just wasn't what I was looking for--it just wasn't "expansive like the B&O beoplay headphones; although the noise cancelling feature is better than the B&Os, so there's that to consider; however, the sound quality in noise cancelling mode isn't as good as the B&O Beoplays, so that's an issue too.

Instead, they include a cool looking, yet pretty useless, soft bag
Unfortunate design decisions------------------------------------------Unfortunately, I felt that 1 star had to be deducted for some design decisions which I wished were different.1.
I really enjoy the design, build quality, and sound signature of B&W headphones
In regards to the reviews claiming no power upon arrival I have a theory; the power/bluetooth button is a stupid, stupid design, dual function buttons suck
While in design this looks great, in practicality it is a poor design-choice as they will likely get damaged if you get caught in the rain
Pros:+ gorgeous sleek design+ amazing sound quality with deep base and good mids and highs+ good customisable noise cancellation+ handy auto pause/resume feature+ convenient control buttons
The sound is better with the noise cancelling off (the mids suffer a bit with the NC) but it's better the B&W PX and the Bose QC35 (with noise cancelling on)
They took a bit to break in, comfort-wise, but I've had no issues after the first few days - I wear glasses with flexible frames so they've never posed a problem.
The P7 Wireless bass was not only rather boosted too much, but was a tad bit soft and loose in its impact which is another bad character to have in bass
nothing beats the Bose for noise cancelling alone.so here comes the B&W PX .... looks and feels premium, excellent sound, a bit more open then the P7 wireless, the noise cancelling is very good, not up to the Bose standards, but much better than the B&O
Initially I was skeptical on the comfort as it hurt a bit
The only problem I have is that occasionally I have connectivity issues, where the headphones will drop the song
I also have a ton of connectivity issues with my PC (Dell Precision 7520)

Was skeptical of the bluetooth connectivity issues that a read from other reviews, so hesitated and decided finally to take the plunge
The B&O H9 does have noise cancelling, but the volume doesn't get very loud, and the noise cancelling is not very good.... in quiet environments, where you don't need noise cancelling or very loud volumes, its a great pair of headphones... but it stays at home most of the time.

These are made for use in various situations, in noisy environments, offices etc
As I type this, I'm sitting in a loud environment with TV's, music, lots of people talking but with ANC and my music playing at about 60% volume, I can't hear anything outside my headphones.
These have been engineered for on the go listening, so Bowers & Wilkins acknowledges that people will be using these in loud environments hence the addition of ANC
