I happen to hate pencils in general, as they are typically either frustratingly poorly made (most mechanical pencils suffer from the lead snapping off with little pressure applied), or just plain ugly looking.

i had this same set and lost the pen and damaged the super rare pencil beyond repair.saw this and just had to have it.cross makes the best pens in the world.made from the best metals and materials.they write smooth and are nice and heavy so it doesn't take so much effort to get the pen to write on the paper.also the size of the pen is nice too

Not only does it wear down faster, but using a stupid skinny little eraser makes the erasing process take longer.5

Only bit of advice I can give, find a good eraser for soft led also, as the eraser in this pencil is quite small, and costly to replace when worn out

I have not had any trouble getting the caps to screw back on tight if I needed to remove one; but since I hate that tiny little eraser that typically comes with a pen & pencil set like this, I usually carry around a larger one.

Pocket clip is very loose.

The pocket clip became loose and would not adequately secure the pen to my pocket, so it would fall out when I would lean forward and down

So this negative review applies only to Cross's incorrect information, not to Amazon as a merchant.
