Other than that, it's a great little drone with some decent quality video features - easy to learn and fun to fly.

take your hand off the throttle and it stays put at the altitude, throttle up, it rises, throttle off, it stays...super good feature...throttle down...throttle off

The drone comes with a 650Mah battery that averages 7-9 minutes of flight time depending on how many feature you use and speed level/aggressive you fly the drone

In practice, the greatest headache is the low quality of the propeller guards and the fact that replacements are sold only in kits that include replacement motors and propellers

All in all it is very good quality, the battery died and it dropped from about fourty

Also a little weird, the camera wont save any video or picture to the SD card, unless the drone is connected to my cell phone showing a live feed.

The camera gives pretty good quality photos and video for the price.

Video can get a little grainy while flying but slower speeds help

The drone is easy to fly with the altitude hold feature and the camera takes pretty good pictures and video.

I took some good pictures of my dog freaking out, and also some video that turnned out good

Very fun to fly, although the propeller guards are very thin plastic and break easily.

Other times it works as it should and when it does we avoid using those modes and he does very well controlling it.

It only made a few hard landings, nothing terrible, but the blade guards cracked quickly and one of the blades broke as well.

I would also buy the spare parts kit as I've used a couple of the props both failed from poor landings inside.

You have to make sure you have the correct blade on the correct arm as they ARE NOT all the same

The blades can be easily damaged so it's nice that they give you extra ones with the drone

I got the trims set correctly after breaking 2 blades and lost 2 guards

I found that if you push the one button takeoff/landing button two times in a row it will kill the blades instantly

Have flown the drone twice and have broken a propeller each time.

Of flimsy guards that got pushed up against the propeller which then broke the propeller

Not a big deal, the propellers are fine, but the guards not so fine.

Mine did come with a bad motor but Holy stone sent me new ones to fix it right away.

Holly Stone replaced a motor and camera free of charge.

The rotate defect that was present on my first one is not there with this one which indicates I may have had a bad motor on the previous one

The wind in your front yard might seem calm or nonexistent, but 100 feet up, it's a totally different story!!!Read the directions, watch some videos, and really practice with it no more than 10 feet off the ground for the first few days

The result was it fell around 70 feet or so to the ground.

The drone loses about three feet in altitude when flipping

After about 2 days of practice, I had mastered the controls enough to go well over 20+ feet in the air.

After a ton of crashes from all of the family and friends it held strong then finally they damaged a piece off it, I contacted holy stone and I got a new piece right

I wedged a small piece of thin metal between the battery and the broken contact to repair as seen in the photos

In several months of frequent flying, we've only broken 2 props and we've crashed many times.6

One point worth noting, the drone comes with prop guards which I recommend fitting to protect the props and also the house walls

Right out of the box, all I had to do was charge the battery, install the prop guards and landing struts, sync the controller to it and fly

Then the same thing happened again but it smashed into a wall and broke a prop

Third, while noted but not really explained, if you get into trouble, you can land your drone in relation to where it is by double pressing the one button takeoff or simply kill the props for an emergency stop by holding that same key

: I found the drone undamaged the next day about 75 yds from where I'd lost sight of it

I did have two minor crashes, clearly operator error from inexperience, one I lost sight and flew into the Christmas tree and the second the dog decided to retrieve the drone in mid flight
