The gooseneck is actually very well designed, and the geometry of the kettle is such that you get a gentler, slower pour than out of a Hario gooseneck--which is better for V60 or single cup brewing, but slightly slows down brewing with a Chemex

Wish it held a bit more water than it does but not a big issue with how quickly and easily it boils.

but If I do not rinse the kettle every time I'm gonna use it, it tends to smell a bit like metal which I assume is from the water droplets after prolonged contact with the inside metal
