This was one of the few microwaves that fit into our built on that had a nice looking metallic exterior.

I bought this small microwave at Best Buy for $168 which was cheaper than the price here on Amazon, $199

Just the right size that would probably fit most size plate/dishes.

We have an odd sized spot for the microwave in our kitchen -- the previous owners redid the kitchen and apparently everything is custom size -- makes replacing things adventurous

Just the right size, but it has the same door latch mechanism that broke on a previous microwave.

Size perfect for small space and roomy enough to meet our needs.

The Samsung is just the right size, not too tall, not too deep, really great.

To make a long story short after many, many hours on the phone with Samsung and my threatening to notify the Better Business Bureau and place a formal complaint with Samsung Corporate they agreed to refund the purchase price

You can't go wrong with a Samsung Countertop Microwave, 1.1 Cubic Feet, Stainless Steel, especially if the price is right.

Anyway after more wasted time on the phone Amazon reps refused to refund the original purchase price.

This price is much cheaper than Cost*O online

They generally make quality products at affordable prices and this microwave is no different.

Second, The keypad is not user friendly and there is no positive feedback that assures that number/feature you pushed was sensed.

As long as the microwave works, it's a standard appliance with good features

This seems like a much better idea for the inside of a microwave than white - much less likely to show every tiny bit of tomato sauce, coffee, and anything else that spills or splatters

The grill is a great idea, in concept, but it's worthless

Sheet metal on back rattles very loud - stainless steel front accepts all

this model is advertized as "stainless steel", only the front bezel is stainless steel, the rest of the unit is painted black

We are moving to all stainless steel appliances and this fits in just fine

you will need to have a nice glass cleaner or some type of stainless steel spray on hand because the shiny front absorbs and holds grease, smudges, and fingerprints really well.

The gill function works fine, but doesn't make your food quite as crispy and nice as a regular toaster oven does

i was able to shut off the beeping sound for when food is ready, which I never was able to with other units

You will be amazed at what this Samsung microwave can do for frozen foods that were really never meant to be nuked.

and I usually err on the side of overdoing it, but I have experienced warm food on the outside and ice cold on the inside.

When the microwave works, it does a fine job heating food, including pizza.

But the door open button breaking after just one month is of course unacceptable, and the difficult to use controls are barely acceptable, so overall this is a terrible product, bad user interface design, cheap mechanical mechanism for the door latch, etc

Don’t let the name Samsung fool you into believing this will be a reliable product

I refused to sign it telling him the unit was unreliable and therefore worthless to

Within 3 months of purchase, the unit worked only intermittently

But the unit itself looks great with the dark color inside the oven that looks easy to clean.

It is not the quietest unit when it is working and for some reason, the clock keeps going back to 12:00.

This unit is garbage and I do not recommend it at all!!!

Even when spills do occur, there will be a lot less scrubbing and wiping to keep things clean

Also, doesn't do that annoying thing where you punch in the number 2, and it auto cooks for 2 minutes

We didn't like the lack of rubber feet on the bottom

Would have given 5 stars but fan a little noisy.

Fan in back is REALLY loud, entire back panel vibrates and can be adjusted in volume by pressing against back panel.

Door stopped working after 5 months

The only ones we need are the door open button (which broke after 1 month), the "add 30 seconds", Start and Stop

I purchased this microwave to replace my Panasonic with the famous door latch problem

I had this microwave for all of 8 months, and the door latch broke

door broke after 3 weeks - getting a replacement was a circus

I found the reviews for this microwave to be pretty

I chose it because I didn't find any really negative reviews on it and every other brand of microwave seemed to have lots of unhappy owners.

It is still too new to give an accurate review.

There were a lot of similar bad reviews about the same issues before mine - listen and don't buy!!!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to anyone based on my poor experience; however I can send KUDOS to Amazon for their generous return policy...it is the best, always.

This began the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced.

After the WORST customer experience ever with Samsung (designed to Not help you), I contacted Amazon and they agreed to allow me to ship it back

Checking on that business, it's got a terrible customer rating so keeping our fingers crossed that experience goes somewhere good.

The second microwave broke after two months, and I can pretty much copy and paste the reviews about Samsung Customer Service from other reviewers - it all repeated: two hours on a phone with Samsung representative, sending a proof of purchase because the warranty expired two months before I bought the unit on Amazon, sending me to a service center an hour away so a technician can determine whether it was "a user-induced damage," then only to learn that the repair shop did not receive anything from Samsung, and so forth

The funny part is, Samsung touts this as rust proof

So how is it a brand new microwave, with ceramic interior, touted as rust proof, has two rust spots

After 4 months of light usage, the microwave started making weird grinding noises and cooking time was way up

After just 3 months of light use, this microwave all of a sudden started making really loud noises, may be the fan in the back

Plus the microwave made a humming loud noise while operational

Ridiculous!Not even talking about loud rattling noise it makes in a normal use, that i had to het used to.

It was a great microwave at first but after a year it started making funny noises and then after only 15 months it quit working all together.

Another rounds of calls, angry exchanges, finally they give me a real ticket number

I will not buy a Samsung microwave to replace this one.i am on my 4th ticket number as samsung customer service continues to fail at its basic job of filling out a service ticket or following up on calls.

No creating accounts, phone calls, voice mails, ticket number problems, or anything else

You guessed it: ECR said the service man must generate a ticket number for new one

I called service center, they said they never saw my ticket number

Provide a primary phone number AND a secondary phone number or you can't go to the next step

, I got a case number and called the phone number as directed

He says that the "combi" function ALWAYS microwaves at 30% - because the microwave can only draw up to 15 amps and if you ran the microwave and the grill element at full power it would blow fuses.

It appeared to have blew a fuse

I think it blew a fuse because there was no smoke or strange sounds.

Piece of junk! Died after only nine months!!

It burns a hole in the door for heating a piece of pizza; it is not safe to use
