I cannot comment on the original stand, but I was concerned it would still stick out a great deal on the arm since I only have a 21in wide desk.

The current WFH situation had made the price of most of the larges size monitors gone up, the price is decent on this Sceptre, and besides not having build-in speakers and USB port, it is a great deal.

I will say that the monitor gets really warm near the power and video cable ports - not a big deal but hope it doesn't get worse

As far as I can tell, for the money this is the best deal on a ultra wide monitor of this size you can get

I don't like to spend more than a certain amount for certain things, because I work as an electronics technician/refurbisher, but I felt this deal was too good to pass up, especially since my previous Philips 32" could sell and make up about a third of the price for this one

At US$ 350 it's the best value for the money for a 3440x1440 @ 100Hz WQHD ultrawide monitor for business/work activities

For my general use purpose and display charts and wide stock watch lists and such, it is great and a great value as well

Right now though, what a great value in a 35" curved, wide screen gaming monitor!

, it looks great, bright with good visuals, great for gaming at 100hz, and of course it’s a ultrawide at an affordable price

Even though NVidia Control Panel says "this monitor is not Validated as G-Sync compatible" ... don't worry it still works with G-Sync and rocks 100Hz

Confirmed G-sync works (running RTX 2080) just make sure to enable in the display control panel first or the option to turn G-sync

I've had no issues working or gaming on it

Gsync with Nvidia clearly works awesome from a gaming perspective, I usually switch from an eco mode while doing work which dims the brightness and contrast etc, to their other preconfigured setting called FPS while gaming.

The only downfalls I see with it as it does not USB-c nor USB ports available on it.

Quality control seems to be a issue here and would not recommend this product unless your ok with having dead pixels.

Just a wonderful monitor out of the box, great color DP 112Hz stable run

The picture quality is decent, its plenty bright (enough we had to turn it down) and the colors look great too for this price

Out of the box the picture was crystal clear, bright and the colors are fantastic.

No light leaks and better more accurate colors.

As noted above, it's only visible with specific dark gray color on the screen

This laptop only has the builtin Intel video but everything is working great for my purposes as i described.

More importantly the screen keeps flickering even after changing connecting cables a couple of times

In practice, it was a blurry screen with bad quality, and I really didn't like using it

1080p 24inch monitors and this thing is almost too much screen in front of you when your use to that!The image is crisp, clear, and bright (almost too bright... had to dim it down some)

and I was able to use 3440x1440 @ 35Hz with the same HDMI cables, but the screen was unstable when pushed harder (like when watching 2K YouTube videos in Full Screen), sometimes it flickered or lagged

The film that protected the screen was glued in place at the bottom of the screen when I removed

Pros:-Refresh rate makes for smooth gaming-High resolution makes for a clear, crisp

I then plugged it directly into my computer and switched to HDMI that supports the 100hz super high resolution

Hdmi cable didnt support resolution on laptop up to 3440 x 1440 but by other my other laptop did

The best 21:9 ultrawide resolution I got with the HDMI cables out of the box was 2560x1080 (WFHD), so the image was blurred and also far from good

Ultimately, the picture is beautiful, and I haven't yet found a game that doesn't support the native 3440 x 1440 resolution
