Does a great job keeping the sun or any light from washing out the view of your GPS

It is light in weight, but does a good job on screening out the sun light and doesn't interfere with voice commanding of the GPS.

Seems like it will do the job, if it fit right onto the GPS

I took the advice of one of the reviewers and made a hole in the plastic clip directly over the power button - great idea for power access without removing the shade from the unit

with the sun shade mounted it is heavier and makes the GPS turn down , should have a way to tighten the ball part on back to over come this problem , good idea but not perfected

But with rubber lining is a very thoughtful idea that would hold the shade in place better than the other visors without such rubber lining, the dilemma is how to make the glue on the rubber lining stay in place once applied and attached on the visor's back in order not to deform the screen into some irregular shape.

I would prefer a "soft" shade like the 322 GPS Shade that I purchased for the smaller Zumo Garmin GPS on my motorcycle.

I thought at first sight that this shade was a little fragile.

The shade works good because it really doesn't need the bottom bar

I got this shade not to keep the sunlight off the screen, but to keep the screen from reflecting off the windshield at night...and it works well for that purpose

Maybe look into something at a actual store that you can try on your GPS for a good fit.

Operator of the GPS is presumably the only one who will have an issue with the poor fit

If you have had trouble reading your GPS in the bright afternoon sun, you're not alone.

But it's good to buy two similar items since the vicious Southern Californian sun might disintegrate the plastic material of both sun shades in the long run

It is a great improvement when the sun is shining above
