Reviews around connection (5.00 of 5)

  • This is a tricky business to manipulate and boost cell signals, not interfere with itself, and provide a better connection than without it.
  • They didn't even use antenna connectors that screw on for a secure connection in a moving vehicle
  • If you spend a lot of time driving around the edges of cell tower range then this might work, or if you want a better quality connection for the times you're in-range
  • On calls, I still had lots of dropouts and the connection was reliable enough to continue talking.
  • I have this on my car and with a panel antenna inside and it improved my connection a lot

Reviews around setup (5.00 of 5)

  • I will preface this by saying that my setup was ideal, as described by the installation booklet: with the cell phone seated next to the paddle at one end of the vehicle, and the external antenna as far away as possible at the opposite end of the vehicle to minimize interference
  • Setup was easy and you do not have to have this professionally installed
  • Setup was easy beyond the extra work that I put in to hide all the cords and it definitely works well

Reviews around drive (5.00 of 5)

  • I had a Weboost Drive X and replaced it with this one and the Weboost reach was so bad it measured one tenth the boosting power as the older Drive
  • Would like to see it auto reset when it goes red from feedback loop if you hit a strong signal driving requires you to cycle power to reset it.
  • Easy to install, seemed to work well while driving through Canada until we ran out of cell coverage.
  • I have two stationary boosters that work great, and I have a 2 year old Drive X and Sleek for mobile use that actually work
  • I used the Drive 4G-M for three years and loved it -- then it died on me

  • Works great, I’ve had weboost installed at our ranch house and vehicles
  • After installing this device (installation was fast and easy!
  • So I have had the weboost installed between my two vehicles for about 2 weeks now, and the improvement in the consistency and quality of my signal (I am with T-Mobile) has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Reviews around booster (4.26 of 5)

  • I plug these boosters into the 12V port on my Goal Zero battery pack so as not to drain my vehicle's battery
  • but I can't say I would recommend this booster or the truck/rv antenna for the price
  • I was trying to use this booster to gain data service, but I was unable to determine whether it was helping at all
  • I use this for work in the oilfield, and it's no better than the less expensive booster.
  • If I had 1 bar of signal, some times it seemed like the booster gave me 2, but most times it didn't do anything

  • If it is really remote, there is no signal for the WeBoost to enhance - no fault of the WeBoost, it's just the way these work.

Reviews around thing (3.86 of 5)

  • I’ll end with this: If you travel and do a lot of business on your phone or live as I do, with micro cell signals in your home, this thing should be the stress relief you need
  • if weak 4g is a problem than this is a good solution
  • So the thing works, but it's not worth $500.

Reviews around product (3.50 of 5)

  • Having a half way decent connection is the difference between me being able to do my job and not so this product is worth the expense for
  • Yes, this product works, but at best you're just going to get slightly more coverage.
  • I'm giving it four stars because I do not want to penalize the product for one defective unit, but don't want to say it is perfect either.
  • I would recommend this product to others who live or often drive through rural areas with weak cell phone reception
  • I couldn't be more pleased and I highly recommend this product.

Reviews around weboost (3.44 of 5)

  • This is the worst Weboost product on the market
  • I called Weboost and was told that Weboost is not compatible with my FirstNet service because it runs on Band 14, which is not compatible with Weboost
  • I called Weboost to buy a replacement and the agent took my order and said they would not charge me, that was a nice surprise, thank you WeBoost.
  • I previously had a weboost cradle type booster, which worked decently
  • I thought the weBoost for the car would be great, because I frequently go to the mountains and lose my signal while traveling and have to call someone back

Reviews around reception (3.04 of 5)

  • I live in a rural poor reception area with an inconsistent LTE signal
  • We traveled from WI through SD with the best reception and internet connection
  • In order to get best reception stay close to the internal antenna
  • Works well for all carriers, and will improve your reception in the rural areas that don't have much coverage

  • But if you are amplifying a dead spot, you still have a dead spot.
  • I have about an hour commute to work everyday and there are a couple of dead spots on the way.
  • I sat the antenna outside and sat my hot spot on the signal boost transmitter and had 3 bars of 4G and was able to to do everything I needed for work.
  • After installing this, I am able to gain at least 1-2 bars of LTE signal from those dead spots and full bars of LTE in weak spots
