The Bluetooth option works well; the sound quality is pretty good so you can play along with your music or you can use the amp to double as a ghetto blaster.
Effects are spacious and of appropriate quality for this price point giving this amp a much bigger feel.

I had a small Vox, which I stopped using because I liked the reverb better on the Blackstar.

Compared it to a 20watt Orange Crush amp and it didn't get nearly as loud-Sound
smaller sized Roland does a good full sound ,but is less crisp/bright than the Beam.
The sound is good and the effects are good (though most of what you can do is so over the top that you wouldn't really want to actually use it - I actually made myself nauseous trying out one of the settings
An incredible amp produces great sound with several guitar possibilites and blue tooth capability
The sound is more natural sounding than and larger/louder sounding than the THR.
