Picture quality is amazing clear zoom feature works great.

allot of them are very good... then again many are not...the very good ones can be very expensive & require more knowhow time & energy ... or outside help to set up, the Defender systems are neither very expensive or hard to install... and they work very well, as long as you work within their performance perimeters....which by the way is largely adequate for most homeowners/apartments

It does work very well, and it serves its purpose very well.

It is being used indoors to capture outdoor activity, and, initially, all seemed to be working well

Love this product bought for barn cameras to watch the pregnant pens works great in my metal barns

The picture isn't the best, and the monitor is on the small side.

Cameras are good with good range, picture, and motion sensitivity that is adjustable

For indoors they are nice because you get a good picture from the Monitor and set up is easy

The sound is really good coming from the camera and the intercom system works great!!

very easy to set up, records any movement, can also hear sound, will not work inside in front of window at night.

The audio is still available coming to the receiver, but when the button is pushed to communicate for someone in the cameras view, there is no audible sound whatsoever

Night vision is not as good as other setups I've had; 6) Can't read the various monitor buttons text without holding the monitor in hand

if you are just getting started with home security this is a great entry level setup as you will be able to monitor two areas of interest simultaneously from one position

, I like the features it has, and the camera quality may have improved, but if I were to purchase a system today it would be the Defender.

Second, You cannot flip the image 90 or 180 degrees on the monitor.which is a nice feature if you have to mount the camera upside down, like under a roof eve

Very pleased with this system, very detailed, beautiful resolution and color.

The resolution during infrared illumination is quite fuzzy and there isn't a chance of making out faces, license plates, or make and model of vehicles at ANY distance

For the money the resolution and night vision are both very good

The resolution is reasonable enough and the customizable settings the entire system, including: monitor alerts, motion sensitivity, recording duration and more

I checked into fake security cameras - no wiring needed

Plan on getting another system as well as additional cameras.

As far as that goes I find the defender cameras to have good transmission range & reception....image clarity is very good for a security system

I already wanted to put 120 volt outlets where the cameras where going to be mounted so this system worked out very good for my purpose.

Great video cameras and the monitor allows you to see the images clearly

But sorry to say with a dead monitor all that is meaningless.

The monitor is toy-like and cheaply made, but, again, I was okay with that

The combination audio, video, and motion detection was great, but when you throw in the recording capabilities this system offered, I figured it would be a great weapon in my arsenal to spite the known video quality (or lack thereof)

Clearly, the manufacturer is selling a poor quality system that is incapable of working properly for even a fraction of the warranty period
