Even if you do have a good stereo system, the HEOS is a handy way to deliver sound to a part of your house or apartment that doesn't have a sound system

The HEOS App allows us to play music from many of our favorite sources including the Pandora, Spotify, Amazonmusic, or from our own music servers

They be a good back ground music source or turn up the volume and enjoy some good music.

Great sound in a small package; I'm a sucker for bluetooth speakers because they are so versatile, but I have to say the HEOS 3 has genuinely excellent sound quality.

Also these are ported speaker and needs to be away from the wall to get better sound quality, so you can't just tuck them away in a bookshelf and expect good sound quality.

Honestly, Audible surprised me the most since that's a pretty popular app and would be perfect for this kind of thing

I can now walk into my door with phone in hand, open the app, and have beautiful music spilling through my home to greet me

If one speaker is playing music and you drag another onto it (this is the action that supposedly causes different rooms to play music) the "playing" speaker's

It can easily fill a large room with your favorite music with its dual Class D digital amplifiers
