The TomTom unit selected excellent routes almost always, but I wanted to have voice commands, so I tried this Garmin, thinking maybe they had improved the navigation---but unfortunately, no.

The maps are easy to update online, the bluetooth connection to my phone is smooth and clear as a bell, establishing connection to the satellites and calculating a route are both quick, 5" display is plenty big enough and the voice directions are clear and helpful.
