For the most part every sample/preset/factory loaded patch (again most) sound amazing, right out of every rap genre, house, and all other "sub genres" of electronic music Ive ever heard.
very well designed easy to use synth, menus easy to navigate and find what you need, very good sound, sampling easy to do, perfect for building full length songs by chaining sequences, specially good for working out ideas anywhere (battery powered), a very powerful synth, maybe not as much control as a full featured synth but i have no problem creating any sound i need due to being able to sample from any audio source, i use with a korg ms-20 mini to create pads and beats, also use with a multi effects pedal (zoom ms-70cdr) for nearly infinite control of sound, some have commented on trigger pads not being

Third, while the interface is well designed, some things are buried a bit in the menu system.

but it seems like the most holistically powerful option for the money

Plugging in a midi controller makes it a snap to use your mad skilz on the keyboard (or not, but it's easier for most of us).-it's trivial to take a part you've created and throw it on another part-location to double or create tonal variations-the pads can be velocity sensitive or not -- a very nice option for different use

The kaoss pad on the left is a fun way to add some variation to your patterns and the LED's
What it is, however, is a great way for me to build compositions, and not just dance music, it's equally adept at creating "Berlin school" sequencing and other stylistic sonorities

When playing sequences I found the pads to be inconsistent
The backlit pads are velocity sensitive and have quick response, but not as good as a Maschine or Launchpad pads, but really nice to hit.
Works great as a scetch pad, but the stock sounds are a bit harsh
