I have restarted the device, modem and router, reset the device to factory settings, did a factory reset of the device, re-installed the app, and removed any possible signal interference from nearby devices, and nothing works

It does have good picture quality and it is cool how the audio works two

I had order this camera just to keep an eye on my dogs; I love how the two way audio works

There is a slight delay (when it did work) which is expected, the overall clarity for a 720p is typical, nothing spectacular

I'm a little confused about apps as it seems every camera has a separate proprietary app

We have had some issues in lagging between when we set the app to alarm for motion detection and when it actually starts giving the alarm.

I have a 720 P and this 1080 P (same brand name) and i fine the pic quality is very good.

It was really weird, but everything works out as it should!

Support is a joke: when asked how to reset the password, the answer is "press the reset button"; when pressed on why the password reset E-mail feature does not work, the answer is "please check your Windows firewall"

Just make sure to reset when dealing with “incorrect wi-fi password” issues when setting up a wi fi connection

I use complex passwords on my WiFi access points/routers for security reasons.

Tried several times unplugging power, making sure connections were right, phone WiFi connected etc.

But the camera works very well the the DSL connection.

The motion detection alerts (daylight as well as night vision) are reliable and connection to the camera is established quickly when I need to check any of those alerts, using the provided MIPC app

The reason why I gave 4 stars was because it does sometimes lose connection or simply doesn't work, and you need to unplug and replug it

My issue is that over the last 9 months they lose connection and I have to re-add them

I've had this camera for 5 months, working 24 hours a day, no issues.

itIf Kamtron comes out with a dome 1080p outdoor that's as good as their indoor ones they would be tops, but since they don't I suggested the Best cameras in my experience and my hours of research have showedNow remember these cameras may not deter a robbery like the thousand dollar cameras you can get from a security firm

I wasted about 3 hours this morning trying to get it hooked up properly

Now i have to put in exact hours for motion detection to work instead of setting it manually.

MIPC app is a bit hard to navigate, but not the end of the world

The Dericam p2 app is a bit easier to use but not much

From home, I can view my office, listen in on whats happening (sound is a bit hard to understand as I said).

Moving the camera while in a different location or country may lag a bit, however that is to be expected with most any camera controlled remotely

My only issue is it's slow to watch back the saved footage.

To download via the PC app is almost as bad; same issue as on android app but also there is no view of file information to ensure you have the full file, so you have to play it and check the numbers

My biggest issue with this camera, though, is that it's completely undependable as far as being able to remotely pan and/or tilt

My issue is that over the last 9 months they lose connection and I have to re-add them

After one Full day of trying to connect camera wireless I give up and returning it because they have no way of me contacting someone regarding this issue

If you pick WiFi, it asks you to hold the phone up to the mic of the Camera while it cycles though loud digital noise like old school dial up internet

My only complaints are the annoying loud noise when connecting the camera to the wifi and the fact that it takes quite some time and tact to rotate the camera because of the delay between the rotation and the transmission
