The 1080 is a crystal clear picture but the video lagged a bit, so I use the 480 and don't experience any lag in the video.

Well, this is my 4th Wansview IP camera and, as with the previous purchases, this one is every bit as good.

Sound part is not as good, as it lags quite a bit if you try talking to it, but i don't use it for

It's definitely a bit slow to respond and moves very slowly, so I don't use the pan option at all

There is also a power indicator light on the back of the camera, it does shine a bit but nothing like a night light or anything

My one complaint is that the vertical and horizontal pan functions can be difficult to "freeze" in exactly the spot you want, but you can get it to stop in the right spot once you get a feel for the timing

I got everything to work (with patience & trial and error) except email motion alarm notifications to gmail.

Running an email test returns 'unknown error', though the wifi test runs fine

I tried for over an hour to get the email set up to send alerts and all it says is "Unknown Error", which doesn't help at all
