Great camera that was very easy to take good pictures with.

very fine camera, takes very good pictures and very fast,

I took about 20 pictures and a couple of videos each under a minute and the battery died

Overall, this camera takes great pictures with little effort

Still it's better than my 6 yr old canon DSLR which took horrendous pictures in low light

I switched from a Canon DSLR camera due to its bulky size

The final complain is the size of the signs in the screen are to small to read withot reading glasses which is a problem

The compact size of this with the amazing low light capabilities make this a must have camera

Really like this camera, it has a compact size so it's easy to carry and takes really nice pictures

Size is small enough that I want to carry it everywhere, but hefty enough to feel like a real camera (almost a pound with a lens).Minor cons: Not a con, but definitely counter-intuitive; the viewfinder takes more power than the screen

Video is pretty good again improved by the great auto focus

I can't tell you how many pictures I lost over the years because I couldn't see the camera display when the sun was bright, and with the vague and often inaccurate auto focus, I lost quite a few potentially awesome pictures.

Overall, the quality of pics with the zeiss 16-70 lens attached is stunning.

This is a great light compact walkabout camera with excellent image quality.

I recommend it constantly because it's easy, light and the quality is unbelievable.

The build quality of the camera is really nice, it looks and feels great

I will say that images straight from the camera have good color, good contrast but error on the side of over saturated

Compared to my old Canon Power Shot, this camera has poor color capture and poor clarity.

The digital viewfinder is just OK, color is poor but it enables careful framing at least, the biggest problem is that it shows the review image that is more normally inspected on the rear screen, which needs to be cleared before continuing to shoot

At low ISO in good light, all three produce spectacular detail with excellent color

When I played it full screen on a computer, I could see some graininess in the dark colors

The manual focus works very well but not all features of the a6000 are exploited

However, I learned much later that it misses certain features that the 5100 has.

Why do they sell worldwide but restrict the features for certain countries only

Great features, quick focus, and hassle-free controls make it a nice first camera.

I found this product to be a disappointment, shots are often blurred or simply don't look good

Airplane Mode On, I never leave home with less than 4 batteries fully charged and keep turning it off and on again, which makes me miss some unexpected shots

I can get great shots at ISO 3200 in most situations... sometimes at 6400.

and I now have a camera with me most times for those unexpected shots.

Love the very fast focus, excellent low light performance, light weight handling, great VET and all the other great features.

I say AF because some lenses like STM's require power even if you intend to only use manual focus ($20 mistake on my part) (make sure you do your homework before purchasing)

If you are shooting sports or a moving object - this is a big plus

The fastest e mount or fe mount constant aperture zoom available from any manufacturer is currently f4.0.

Hybrid AF system, this pretty much can track any moving object, and keep it focused no matter where it goes.4.

For now I rely on the fast and clear E-mount Sigma 30mm prime that works perfectly w/ the camera.

I suggest an Olympus, for a cheaper camera the Nikon J's are great

This is clearly, based on a simple Google search, a much more pervasive problem that they prefer not to acknowledge.

Only complaint, easily fixed but still dislike is the fact Sony puts chips in their batteries

Photo quality was every bit of the mirrored cameras quality no complaints there

It is a bit too difficult to remove the SD card next to the battery

Learn a little bit about photography and put in some effort, and this camera will reward you in spades

If you want to do time lapse with this camera, it requires that you purchase an app for $9.99, which isn't the worst.

I'm finding that Sony has camera applications ($$) available for time-lapse, multi-exposure, etc

I was anxious to use this camera for some extended time lapse, but you have to use a battery.

Solving the overheating issue is nearly impossible, leaving the battery open/screen out...not interested.

One could only dream that a firmware update would correct this issue.

So, now I am little more happy, but wish overheating issue is not there

The lack of marking on the Sony e-mount lenses was also a major issue

Given the fit and finish of this camera compared to an entry level DSLR, the only justification for going with a DSLR is if you need higher quality modern lenses (that are still made out of cheap plastic)

know Sony would never do it because it would cut into their SLT market, but a compatible battery grip and putting the SD card on the side would be nice

I ordered two non-Sony brand extra batteries and a wall charger bundled for about $25 and they work well and the charger also charges the real Sony battery.- Hopefully there will be more choices of Sony E mount lenses in the future

Upgraded from Sony Nex 5T, so I could make use of 18-55 and 55-210 lenses.

Turned out the battery was depleted and the camera could not recharge it

It was even draining the battery overnight with the camera turned off, so I ordered 2 additional batteries and a charger
