It's the BEST way to spend your money, and while you may not get the best picture (but really only for high speed motion), or the best TV out of the box, it is the BEST value for your money out there
Overall: still a great value for what you get, but if you're picky about little things it may not be a great choice.
I've never seen such a good Value, great colors, great panel, Good brightness, wonderful HDR and the ability to edit your inputs to your liking
Excellent purchase, great price and value for the quality of the TV.
Again, the 6 Series is a noticeable improvement and if it's in the budget it's arguably the best value going in TVs
I can add Xbox or Satellite TV or Cable or Live TV as inputs from the 3-4 HDMI connections and it's as easy as launching the input, like you would to launch Netflix, to switch to that input.
The input lag is very low and inputs feel smooth
Again, super thanks to other reviewers smarter and better writers than myself, I think this was the best choice price/quality/inputs/super easy to setup
Software Features - Roku apps, easy input switching to Satellite or Live TV, other apps I use.
even “good” implementations)• Great input
You are reading snippets from reviews of TCL 55" 5-Series 4K UHD Dolby Vision HDR QLED ROKU Smart TV - 55S535
Would recommend it to anyone needing a new TV at a moderate price with accurate color and settings to adjust.
The black colors are really dark, and the display gets brighter than I'll ever use
Good part : amazing colors in dark environment, excellent audio quality, no so expensive for a QLED T.V.
I have a vision impairment the first time I saw the picture on this television I saw that the pine needles on the tree branches were all separated the color is incredibly vibrant never seen such red Reds and bright
; every tv is different even same size and model , but the color looks fairly accurate to me with the factory settings
THAT being said, the TCL is superior in almost every way, and was more than $400 less
it's not TCL's fault)
So far we like this TCL better already and with the 4 year extended warranty, we'll have this one for at least 5 years
I have a regular TCL series 6 that I love and beats this hands down.
Now I find that there is a security issue as outlined in the following article entitled “TCL smart TVs may have 'Chinese backdoor' — protect yourself now”.
We are enjoying the features and quality of picture of our new TV.
Love the search feature and I just started to use the favorites and the screensaver features.
The only negative (hence 4 star "Feature" rating) is that it doesn't allow headphone listening- via my phone with Roku app- to videos on my DVD player, even though it goes through an HDMI port.
The remote is missing the voice search feature but that’s no problem for me
My favorite feature is that the TVs is able to handle and has the ability to adjust the picture for older devices that output 480p, 720p, and 1080p
