Due to the 'cheap' build of the chair components some of the bolts were difficult to align with the nut built into the chair component.

This chair is well built, and comfortable for my 6' 4", 250+ lb frame

In fact, at first you notice a great big bulge in your crotch area from the big cushion there, then as that breaks in you lose that support that helped stabilize you and you lean forward

It has adjustable lumbar support and a very comfortable chair all around

They are well padded and do not cut into my ulna (the bone in your forearm) like my chair at work does.

but I suspect the padding at the end of the chair will flatten out a bit after a few uses

The arm rests are well padded and larger than my last chair

Additional padding for the knee area fails to cover the entire front of the seat.

This chair at $100 less is VERY well padded on the seat, the arm rests and the head rest

I did quick initial adjustment of the tilt tension and lumbar support, which I expect I'll tweak over the first month or so.

TURN THEM ANYMORE - doing so will probably damage the thin metal such that the arms won't stay attached for long - if they can be attached at all once the metal is damaged.

This chair does have a tilting feature, as my previous chairs had, but this chair will not tilt back sufficiently enough as to allow me to lift my feet off the floor and stay tilted back.

However it is now just 7 months later and the seat is so flat and worn out that I am sitting on the hard metal and plastic that is under the padding

Sitting in the chair is causing chronic knee and lower back pain to worsen, due to the fact that I have to adopt unnatural body mechanics to keep the chair

and I can't sit in the chair for more than an hour without having severe pain in my lower back, butt, and coccyx

Note that when the instructions says "keep the bolts loosely secured" keep them loose since it's for a reason.

The bolts are separated into individual bags and this made it easy to identify the correct bolts (again, even my kid could discern between "A" and "B" bags)

The bolts are misaligned so the chair wobbles a bit from side to side.

The two-bolts-in-back-two-in-base on each side design has seen the most success for me in the long term.

This chair is everything you might expect at its price point: plastic and bonded leather-like

I bought this since it has a much higher weight limit and it's made for "Big and Tall" people, that it'd hold up better.

I'm not the healthiest weight and finding a good chair with a higher weight limit at a decent price is not easy

To avoid any similar chairtastrophes, I bought the chair with the highest weight limit I could afford.

every time i tilt even a little the noise is so annoying

Only a few months old and has no started developing a loud creaking noise when you recline backwards or move forwards again to the point you try to remain perfectly

My only issue is that when I lean back it makes a loud creaking noise.

Shipped quickly, but arrived in a poorly sealed cheap cardbord box that was falling apart.

The box looked so bad I honestly thought about returning it without even opening it, but I am glad I kept it now.

The chair arrived, nicely and snugly packed in a very sturdy, thick corrugated packing box

The box, as mentioned in other reviews, arrived dinged and scratched but the contents were intact

Came with a broken plastic cover piece broken in two places for the underside, and the parts were very loose

I don't know whether it was poor packaging or poor QA on a return item but the plastic cover that goes on the underside of the seat came cracked.

seems solid enough, missing a plastic cover on one armrest, kind of a pain to replace the whole chair for a 2 ounce piece of plastic

Though the seat seemed like it would hold up well, the rest of the chair is junk

It creates an awkward and uncomfortable ridge that your legs rest on.

People who will be grabbing the arm rest to raise and lower themselves into the chair, people who will be grabbing the arm rests to twist and turn getting comfortable.
