The JBLs provide an excellent stereo image along with a clean, balanced response at low and high volumes - perfect for mixing or just listening (unless you're someone who desires super-hyped bass)
Flat enough response to do some good mixes, but not to the point where you cannot use them for music listening enjoyment

The bass is a little stronger on the 308s, and the volume, but it's not a huge difference, and with smart placement either set will do the job.

The LSR308 is equipped with an LF trim switch and an HF trim switch, as well as dual 56W Class D amplifiers for both drivers
To ensure flexible connectivity, JBL included a balanced XLR input and a balanced 1/4" TRS input, both of which feature dented level control
