looked at numerous smart watches and decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 because it was at a really great price and had really good reviews

Has all the bells and whistles I wanted at a great price.

If you are debating on buying a smart watch, this is it for the good price point.

I love my samsung phone but it looks like I will get a fitbit as they obviously will not stand behind any type of warranty that makes sense.

I asked to talk to her supervisor, and hung up the phone after being on hold for 30 minutes

The app for this watch is crap,the battery run down after a few hours, there is no way you could get a sleep score because the battery will not last all night

Work perfectly with my Moto G Stylus, Samsung Health is an amazing app

You'll also basically be using 2 apps - the wearable app and the samsung health app, which is a little weird, but fine.

The watch is missing some key apps as well like Amazon music

I will say that the Active 2 is more comfortable than the Fitbit and the screen is nicer

I went swimming for the first time ever with this device, with a friend who had their fitbit versa2 on..........feeling all excited with myself to try the swim feature out, after one lenght of the pool.....the device went crazy, rebooting constantly and then the screen died

It does so many awesome things that I have not had the time to learn yet

The stupid thing can't even counts steps accurately

Never nobody explained to me why the watch broken and who covered this problem

After explaining the situation and how the damage occurred and providing proof of purchase with less than a month of ownership they still denied my claim

I can log a fake workout - just me sitting on the couch not working out or even moving, and burn the same as I would in the same amount of time during a hard workout

We sent the watch to Samsung and after a few days, the Samsung warranty dept denied the claim for liquid damage.

Left it on the charger for 2 days even tried 2 chargers no luck

they came back and stood by that the "water damage" invalidated the warranty.

This water resistant watch is great, and even has a good warranty, how wrong was I. 5 months of use the watch was placed on the charger and went into a reboot that never ended.

They emailed me a bill for over $200 and said liquid damage voided my warranty

Using the watch in water invalidates the warranty- even though it claimed to be waterproof and able to be used in the pool or shower

After sending the watch into Samsung after owning it for 6 months they said there was water damage (could not tell me the tests to conclude this) and said it would be $219 to fix which is the retail cost and refused to honor their warranty so it was sent back
