I was kinda dubious that an amplifier this small could produce anything like a decent sound, but my wife has been begging me to find something to replace the standard size stereo receiver I've been using with my floor standing JBL speakers.

I use this for outdoor speakers, I totally recommend this amplifier, and for the price, worth a try.

now it works... great little amplifier, perfect for my shop... but, in truth, everytime I turn this thing on, I'll remember the frustration and the ridiculous support and the long wait... which is not anyone's goal.

This makes me qualify this amplifier with manufacturing defect

I'm using this amp with a DAC/Preamp and getting great results.

The better your speakers, the better the results

I would highly recommend this little amp to power speakers rated at 20-35 watts at 8 ohms, or 40-70 watts at 4 ohms

In any case the amp is still powerful (90 watts?).

If you are looking for an inexpensive 2 speaker receiver, this is a good buy.

It doesn't sound as good as my old receiver, but I may be able to adjust the levels using software

Has an overall deeper sound production, with much much better lower end...

I have Athena, and they are mid to top end

Great quality, superb frequency coverage especially in the low end

I use this to power some nice quality Polk bookshelf speakers for my computer.

Received it on time the casing is metal heavy duty everything about it screams quality very powerful careful that you don't blow your speakers the only thing I have to tell you is for somebody that's picky with sound all it is is an amplifier you definitely need an equalizer small equalizer but definitely needed

I did some A/B testing with this amp vs a McIntosh MC502 (late 70s solid state amp with 50 WPC) using a Marantz 3800 pre-amp

volume!The provided power brick is a smidge longer than this amp and about half as wide but it suits the claim that this amp tosses out 160x160.No complaints, wicked amp for my bookshelf speakers!!

I read a lot about possible damage to speakers through under-powered amps as well as concerns about distortion if you need to max the amp out to drive the speakers, so I wanted to get one that would have enough power to drive the speakers without needing to max it out

I don't know if the Fosi actually qualifies as an audiophile-level piece of equipment, but paired with the right source and speakers, you can definitely get pretty darn close for a *fraction* of the price.

OMG, by 1/4 of a turn, the speakers were very loud, too loud to have a conversation with someone without yelling.

The one thing I did not pay attention to was that they issued the same power supply for both amplifiers

It has just 1 set of RCA inputs, so some thing like Chromecast Audio or some other single use purpose use is perfect.
