I have had worse pans, ie

As long as the pan is hot, the waffle cooks in less than a minute and is a mix of crispy and soft, chewy, eggy batter.

On to waffle #2, where I cleaned the pan, reduced the heat and really paid attention to the timing

The first waffle was a little over cooked...need to perfect the cooking time in the future
