Overall, this is a good quality waffle iron that cooks quickly

Was so sick and tired of dealing with cleaning lesser model waffle iron

I LOVE IT THOUGH, now about a week after I ordered this the heat from the waffle iron caused the green indicator glass to break on both sides, but again those never worked so it for less money you can have the perfectly imperfect waffle iron that makes perfect waffles when done right.

There is no temperature control but this is a terrific waffle iron

The clip to close it is too small and hard to use when waffle iron hot.

I bought this because of the removable grill plates for easy cleaning, which is great.

If you add things to the batter like nuts or blueberries, it will overflow, but easy to clean

One criticism, the product has a lot of plastic and is flimsy at parts

Looking under the iron, I found a small, hard plastic connector piece with a tiny screw (think eyeglasses) that held it, had broken

I received this as a Christmas gift, the first use the reflective plastic over the lights fell off

Then the cheap plastic base fell off and the ball that allows it to flip would not go back in place, making it impossible to use

I broke the ball that contains the electrical wires as soon as I attempted to move the resting plate and as I soon discovered, you really don't need to remove the unit at all

Turned on for the first time in the porch for 15 minutes to burn off new smell and brought it back in the house and made perfect waffles, love your product

I didn't have a problem with a strong smell

You do, as others say, have to burn off the smell for about 10-15 minutes before the first use

The only complaint I have is-- the smell of burning plastic, or whatever it was from using it for the first time was absolutely toxic

There is a harsh smell the first time you use it but that has resolved.
