This item isn't at all like the classic model 2500 telephone it mimics

It is an old-fashioned phone for folks who like the good ole days
The phone also has a cute bell ringer instead of those weird sounds that are emitted by modern day devices
I sort of miss having caller ID, but I don't miss caller ID enough to buy another digital corded phone.
That's a good thing because it makes holding the phone much less fatiguing than in the good ol' days
You kids can have these, us grownups will have our Western Electrics, which will still be working as well as the day they came out of the Indianapolis Works by the time you're in Depends

Good price and good quality if you need a corded telephone.
If you're looking for a decent simple phone with the look of the past at a good price then this is the phone for you.
It is really difficult to find this style telephone anymore at a reasonable price

Great price for a great looking phone, just wish the quality was better.
In any case, it's very nice looking, works well (except the bell thingy), and was inexpensive

It lighter than my original from the 70's but this is great product
This is a fine product for someone like me who wants a simple, old-fashioned land-line phone with no gimmicks.
Any device to help keep a senior independent and living at home is a great product for all of us.

Probably the other best thing about this 2500 klone is the keyboard

but they are less than half the weight of the original phones and what is really missing is the heavy ring system.
