The left burner stopped working after a couple of weeks

I did not even have it for a month and the left burner stopped working for no particular reason

Then, at the three month mark, the left burner stopped working entirely, and the right began heating very slowly again

The left burner on this item stopped working exactly 7 days after it was "ineligible for return" (within just 30 days).

The left burner stayed very hot even when dialed to "OFF" and the right barely worked at all anymore

Would love a chance to try it again, but the price is too steep to risk for only a few months of (limited) use.

This dual burner — one large, one small burner — looks good, is easy to clean, and is being sold at a good price.

looks like someone played football with the box and it was also shipped the factory box no protection at all

The hot plate works fine the shipping on the other hand

Therefore, I just purchased another unit brand new off eBay, with free shipping, and a Square Trade warranty that I purchased with the item for another three dollars

(They don't recommend shipping via USPS)

This thing is horrible

I actually loved this thing, I used this in my makeshift kitchen, unfortunately one of the burners 'burned' out after only a month of use :( as much as I loved it it's not worth it...

It is a nice thing in a kitchen in case of emergency (like running out of gas

I needed something to cook with daily because my gas range is broke and it's been working great for me.

(unfortunately, yes, i disposed of that perfect work horse after i received this lovely looking stove.

Then one of the burners stopped working completely and the other burner failed to reach it's highest heating level

It worked great for a month an a half and then the larger burner no longer works.

It only seems to have 2 temperatures warm or HOT works ok but not as good or well made as other ones I have had in past.

Being made of cast metal, the burners retain heat well, but don't try to wipe them down with a paper towel or sponge, that will leave shreds behind.

Worked well, heated even big pots to a boil, small and efficient.

To begin with the right pad heated very slowly and never very particularly hot

Unfortunately it has a thermostat and cuts itself off, wouldn’t provide enough heat for the smoker

Cleans easy, large burner boils large pot of water in no time, heats up quickly, fries anything from chicken to French fries, heat adjust easy

It's definitely a decent little burner for the piece you pay but it seems like it doesn't get as hot as a regular stove unit and it takes a good minute to heat up

Unit broke after two months

I liked the unit and it worked fine up until that date.

I purchased this unit because my cooktop died and I needed something quick to use while I sort out the replacement

Seems to be a good unit, I have not really tested this one specifically yet as I don't have the need I had thought.

This means that the money I spent on this item is a complete loss.

It’s really worse product one can buy , I wish to give less than one star , it burns out in less than 2 months

We went for the cheaper option, as we really only needed this to get us through a kitchen renovation, but in retrospect I wish I would have shelled out for a better quality product.

So, buy this product, no problem with it, but just be careful on how you're using it.

I contacted the company, because they have obviously heard that their product is faulty from others who were having the same problems as me

One burner did not work at all, and the other burner did not get hot enough to even boil water

It can be going all day with a pot on won't even boil water

Only the larger, left side, burner gets hot enough to boil water (and it gets really hot.)

First, trying to boil a pot of water pasta takes nearly 20 minutes just to get a consistent boil.

First one I've owned that actually cooks at high temps--so if you put a pot with water on it to boil for pasta, the water actually boils within a reasonable amount of time

This one needs at least 2 hours to boil a pot of water.

Didn't last but a few months, short cord and took forever to boil a small pot of water

It cannot boil a pot of water.
