Within 10-15 minutes, the new photo would show up on the screen at the grandparents' house with my caption (caption could be turned on or off through Kodak's touchscreen interface).Nixplay has modeled their service after a photo sharing site, but it frankly doesn't work very well for 90% of people who just want to upload pictures to a frame easily and let the collection of pictures grow

But my main complaint is the way you have to get the photos to the frame, like I said, scrap booking time!

Many companies are taking this as the cheap way to provide support.

If the battery does not work, there is no way to set up the unit without the remote.

I wish the album to playlist interface would be smoother, for example if I connect my account to google photos, I'd like to just select an album in google photos, and if the album in google is updated the frame should be automatically updated without any further steps required within the Nixplay website.

One piece of advice for Nixplay: Since the first question asked by the support staff is what's the model number, put your model number on the unit for those of us who never keep the documentation.

you have several options for display(transition, random, etc), order of display(shuffle or random) and source of display (usb sd card or cloud).

There are 3 options to upload your pictures, usb drive, cloud thru Nixplay website and third party cloud services like google photo, dropbox..etc

So all your photos need to be in the root folder of the SD card, and it will only just display them sequentially (by name or date).Overall the display quality is good, but I found its capabilities for dealing with SD and USB to be somewhat lacking.

When I first received the frame, it had one dead pixel (see attached picture).

Great product with vivid colors and clear pixels.

Another small annoyance was that if one of your photos fails to upload, it stops all the uploads instead of just skipping the problematic file

I could not upload JPG files to their cloud and the customer service person lacked the ability to understand or speak good English.

It gives you several ways to access your photos allowing you to build different "playlists" and store them on their own website or your own Dropbox or alternative cloud file storing option

We no longer have to download large files in email, or burn a disc and wait until we see each other next.

If the photos are in the “Photos” App, you’ll need to select the photos, Export to your hard drive, then drag into the the album
