The 0.5 point is very fine, some prefer the 0.7 because it's a bit thicker, but it's all personal preference.
i like the thinner feel and the long sharp point, helps my handwriting.
However the fine point is just that, good or drawing and fine writing
It keeps a good point at all times, giving consistent line quality, rather than starting fine and crisp and gradually becoming dull and smudgy
I like the fine tip point and price was better than many other stores

Have used pencils before and needed to replace works great
They have worked great through my undergraduate, graduate, and work life
Great for more precise work with easily accessible 0.5 lead.
The replacement lead works great also, though I have not gotten it through Amazon.
I love this pencil because it feels good in my hand, works year after year, lead and erasers are easy to find - I only order new ones because I lose them.

I've also been using the same lead pencil religiously for 2 years now and it still works as if it was brand new
They are admittedly unforgiving when you drop them on the ground; the metal piece at the bottom, out of which the lead comes, can bend after being dropped, causing the lead to break quickly as you advance it, after that happens

great product, but I do not like the stupid little eraser that it has

Not a bad product at all, but if you are looking for something with a very solid and unyielding feel (like the Forte), this is not the one.

I really like these pencils, and the only thing that keeps me from giving them five stars is that I enjoy the Kerry (linked below) so very much more
I would give more stars, but these things are overpriced from every source, Too bad I'm addicted
One thing that really bugs me is when companies "improve" a product, which is in fact a step back.
The nice thing about mechanical pencils is that they work no matter how cold it is, so if you left it in your car overnight in winter, it does not freeze up.
Might sound weird, but it's 1 less thing to replace through out the year and my kids love them.

Some had hard or soft textured grips, while others were smooth
The lead feed is reliable, the body nearly indestructible, and grip just right for a man with medium sized hands
As I've said in many other reviews, I prefer a metal grip
If you need a thick led pencil with a sharp point, I guarantee these are amazing for clean lines and tight grip.
It has a really nice grip, iI prefer it over pencils with a round barrel

Good quality, lots of selection of lead and just a good all-around mechanical pencil.
The only downside it has is the built in eraser is pathetic, but very high quality.
I was looking for a better quality mechanical pencil that would hold the lead solid
I have always liked these pencils as they are a good quality and also the lead does not break in them very often.
Not easy to find the 9mm caliber lead retractable pencil, very useful on drawings and plans, copies very well with the dense line quality.

But, its feel and precise lines are unmatchable to any other pencil out there
The pencil feels good in your hand and makes nice, crisp lines
Not easy to find the 9mm caliber lead retractable pencil, very useful on drawings and plans, copies very well with the dense line quality.
If you are a wooden pencil user I definitely recommend switching to this guy, you get a consistent line without ever needing to sharpen.
Nice sharp accurate lines, and sturdy enough lead to write on rough lumber.

They are so comfortable, the lead is fat, the eraser doesn't smudge, the price is right
The best mechanicals are small lead, usually .7 mm, but when marking boards and sheets of wood they break too easy.
Everybody in the carpentry woodworking field uses these, the lead is sharp & hardly ever breaks, you can write on cement, wood and more
They have very fine lead but strong enough not to break like a lot of fine leads.
If you put too much pressure on your writing utensil like I do, you'll always break 0.7 mm or 0.5 mm lead
