So if you are looking for great noise cancellation and wireless convenience, and are willing to live with mediocre music quality, the WH1000XM3 is a great product
Noise-Canceling 5/5This is by far the best product I've tried in this category
But let me tell you, Sony does not take responsibility of their faulty product and now I have a $350 piece of junk
Well at this point choice is yours dear reader, you can risk your $350~$300 to buy this faulty product
It's a great product with good sound quality and pleasant overall features
The passive noise cancelling is better than my audio technica’s and the noise cancelling is as good as Bose
That is, I was concerned that if so much energy (and resources) were devoted to noise cancelling, that sound quality could have gotten lost along the way.
Great sound quality, great noise cancelling, long battery life, comfortable!!!Best of the best.
So if you are looking for headphones that have great noise cancelling, high comfort, and a good sound
The best sound quality and noise cancelling you can get from headphones.
I tried Sennheiser's similarly priced models and their noise cancelling had a noticeable impact on sound quality (tin-y).Battery life is great, and it charges super fast for a day's worth of battery (I'm talking ~10 mins to achieve that).Overall, I won't let the connectivity issues bring down my 5 star, because I love these things.
I like them and they work good with phone calls as well A+
and I found that the Sony wire was better quality and longer in length than the one that comes with the QC.- Easy to use straight out of the box - where as with the QC I had to fumble with it a bit before figuring out all the buttons
I’m not going to say that these sound nearly as good as most of my wired headphones, but for everyday-on-the-go-beat-them-up-with-ANC these are exciting.
The sound is great as well (remember, I'm not an audiophile) and I generally listen to pop, classical music, R&B, and modern instrumental
(if you're wondering why I can't use that cable because it's micro usb and these headphones use usb c
I have not heard of any cracking issues, and the headband feels slightly stronger to me
The problem is that it’s heavier but the issue i believe is that it’s not evenly distributed which causes pain on my temple even for a short time.shame, because the sound is better and usb-c! in the end, though
USB C for recharge is better for me, battery life is a touch longer, padding on band is a little firmer, all good
These headphones appear to have cracking issues which I asked about, namely if they would be covered, according to a sony rep named Jay they would not
While I would love to give these headphones a 5/5 for their incredible sound and comfort, my problem ultimately lies in the flimsy plastic right above the ear
The Sony headphones do not have that cheap plastic smell some products do
USB C for recharge is better for me, battery life is a touch longer, padding on band is a little firmer, all good
And the touch controls work as well as you can expect them to work
But they are made of scratchy plastic, no Bluetooth 5.0, and they are uncomfortable.
Can barely tell I work in a terribly noisy open-office plan, or that the old United 737 engines are loud as anything
I work in a noisy open concept office building and got a pair of cheaper, off brand noise cancelling headphones because I was in a budgeting bind
I feel like i am at a concert hall while working at noisy office
The problem is that it’s heavier but the issue i believe is that it’s not evenly distributed which causes pain on my temple even for a short time.shame, because the sound is better and usb-c! in the end, though
Good quality headphones, visually appealing, good noise cancelling 70% volume you can't hear a snap of fingers next to your ear
With music playing at a moderate, comfortable volume (and the headset on full NC mode) I could hear my family talking around me and household noise (not a noisy environment)
Noise canceling is excellent but maximum volume is very disappointing.
The volume of the headphones dropped drastically when taking a call and the person I was speaking with couldn't hear me as good
Good quality headphones, visually appealing, good noise cancelling 70% volume you can't hear a snap of fingers next to your ear
