While I can't be 100% sure that the Bonjour issue was the only setting affecting implementing the device, it is working well with Bonjour not running on the ATA, and I can use a soft phone app on my MacBook to place and receive calls
these worked great to setup analog fax machines with vonage
Our fax machine is analog so this product coverts the fax line coming as digital to analog so our fax machine will work.it is working great so far.
Well, finally, this ATA has been working fine for a while now, with Caller ID and no problem with incoming calls.
YesIt works just fine with no issues with the alarm system and an old style answering machine
The device is somewhat OK if you only plan on using it for voice usage, however it has quite a number of issues:- Faxing is very flaky, even with T.38 enabled and a T.38 compatible SIP provider
For the most part, this SIP adapter works great.
(there are some bugs in the provisioning code, for example, which I am not using, so it doesn't matter to me)UPDATE 2 years later: as far as I know, this is the best SIP box available on the market.
You are reading snippets from reviews of Cisco SPA112 2 Port Phone Adapter
Using this with sipgate, works flawlessly, never had an issue!, 3 months continuouse use so far, it's like having a uk phone in the us!
The end result is a reliable home phone that costs me under $3 dollars per month
This will *not* support VOIP phones and wasn't designed as such.
I bought this and set it up with Callcentric's service, to replace my overpriced cable company phone line
Also, I had fun using some older phones we had lying around on our modern network; something about having an early '80s phone working on a modern VOIP network just made me happy
I created an account on the voip.ms site, followed their instructions for configuring the SPA112 to work on their system, and it worked the first time.
This replaced my dead PAP2T and was super easy to set up with VOIP.ms.http://wiki.voip.ms/article/Devices#Cisco_SPA112_and_SPA122
and it still stops working randomly couple times a month - phones are
I followed the configuration instructions supplied by my service provider (Callcentric) for this particular model, and the adapter immediately connected went to work as soon as those were completed
Bought several of these and they were very easy to set up and have been perfectly reliable and deliver excellent call quality
It seems to perform as advertised, I have no problems or complaints as of yet.
I had heard that the SPA112 had great call voice quality and Amazon was not selling the OBi200 at the time
It seems to perform as advertised, I have no problems or complaints as of yet.
This ATA lasted just over 2 months before the Line 1 port failed to make outgoing connections - incoming still
I followed the configuration instructions supplied by my service provider (Callcentric) for this particular model, and the adapter immediately connected went to work as soon as those were completed
Well, I took this ATA up to work and it worked just fine on our Asterisk PBX for a week or two, even on incoming calls.
