Price was good at the time I purchased it and it can go up and down and tilt unlike some other brands/models of screens of equivalent size.

Everything on the monitor is within comfortable viewing angle without moving your head all over the place.

The curve is perfect for viewing split screen without wanting to adjust the monitor for better viewing angle (which i was doing a lot of when using my old 28" for split screen).

Great screen, the curve is not distracting and I don't have to move my head as much as a standard screen.

While the curve might not seem incredibly important or valuable, as that width increases it really does help your eyes shifting from left to right

34 inches is just about perfect for this resolution and the curve is not so drastic that it causes distortion

I like the quality of the monitor, but be aware of a few facts:1

I had excellent color quality, and response time, and comes with a nice set of features

It's very easy on the eyes and has excellent picture quality and graphics

LG was not easy to deal with and there may be a possibility you could get a poor quality panel

at first it wasn't big enough to cover the screen but installed the drivers from the disk and much better , instructions like most things are weak .

These plugs are straight out, so very easy to use, although if you were wall mounting, you would need to account for that.- VESA compatible so my Amazon arms work great.- Really decent resolution, although I had to bump my dpi up to 125% to read the text comfortably

I went with the CHG90 first, although the resolution of that monitor didn't fit my work at all (1080 high)

Even though the resolution is a downgrade (a significant one nevertheless), larger screen estate was welcome, along with faster boot times, improved reliability, and of course the ultra wide option.

This happens for strictly 16:9 content, like games that restrict resolution due to fairness, or game consoles like the Xbox and the PlayStation

Highly excessive IPS glow/light bleed/vignetting - unusable for any professional work

No speakers (in their defense, they did not advertise that it did, but it is a con nonetheless)- Very audible buzzing noise for all audio routed through the monitor (same cables and equipment without the monitor resulted in no buzzing)While I may have been unlucky and received a defective one, the presence of two unrelated issues (bad audio and bad backlight bleed), was less than confidence-inspiring for quality control

Backlight bleeding is a problem, a black screen shows quite a few of them on the bottom and sides
