I have only played Mass Effect 1 for the time being, but I do enjoy RPG games like Skyrim, and Dragon's Age, but I wanted to try an RPG in space

So despite being an avid RPG gamer, I'm a little behind the curve and only got into the Mass Effect series fairly recently, despite some misgivings

Mass Effect is widely considered one of the best RPG series for a reason: the characters, plot, and storytelling is all excellent, and--in my opinion--some of the best examples available

The Mass Effect games are my favorite RPG series of all time, and some of my all-time favorite video games period.

After Origin is installed (and updated to the latest version), you're prompted to redeem your game code in the box, making all available games to you as a download

So the gist of the story is: even though you get a bunch of disks, you might as well throw them in the bin right after you receive them - or alternatively hunt around for a cheap and instant download code

Bioware's Mass Effect storyline is the best science fiction writing since Star Wars and Star Trek, and will immerse you in its universe for a good 500+ hours (played through the first two games twice, and the 3rd once)

I don't know how, but I got through ME1 (again, after over a handful of issues) and was at least was able to start ME2 before that game crashed on me too

The representative didn't address my concerns/problems, they just asked me to go through a mundane checklist that had nothing to do with my game crashing

You lost a customer, and I am not the kind of person who says stuf like that

So, no customer support, a non-functioning game, and zero usabilty

Now I'm stuck with a game that won't work, and terrible customer service within Origin/EA that won't help

I got so caught up in them i would look at the clock and realize I had just lost 2 hours in what felt like minutes

After an hour on hold, another hour going over my account, deleted the game (Mass Effect is the problem), creating a legacy account through Pogo.com and then another hour plus reinstalling the game, it still doesn't work

Why bother sending out 6 disks if you have to download it anyway?

Mass Effect 2 disks were defective, and I tried numerous dvd restoration programs to try to recover the data but the vast majority of the disk was corrupt

Turns out that even though this game does come as a DVD box set, the disks are nearly useless

missing a disk and could not install would not accept install code

It's absurd, people complain that they can install it either once or not at all with purchased code, and thereafter installation always fails

I have seen that MOST people that attempt to get it to work are unable to and it is really frustrating

Some people with certain operating systems are having problems getting all three games to run and are, incorrectly, blaming EA's Origin client

even the ending people complained about on the 3rd which boggles my mind
