the OS is easy to navigate and set up, pretty much plugged it in, configured it and havent touched it since.

Best 2.4ghz speed I've ever experienced, and yes, the OS is pretty nice.

I like the new OS and hope I won't regret going from a 1.8 quad to a dual 1.7ghz that's in this router.

Being able to use Advanced features such as geofilter and bufferbloat really make this router a step ahead of all the others for gaming

The minute I booted the router, it wanted to perform a firmware update, and I figure "why not?" What I learned, after spending a few hours trying to determine why some of the features specified in the user manual weren't readily available, it that it appears Netgear would rather remove buggy features rather than address them with a fix.

Range is much greater than expected can still be connected on wifi with my phone about 50yards (minimal obstacles) away from router

its wireless works only in the closest to the router placement, roughly about 30 feet down the room it looses connection.

The pages would load slow, the ping would spike, sometimes the connection would drop off for a couple minutes a day and absolutely ruin my gaming experience

My reason for purchase was partly really outdated equipment in my house and partly because when I do play online games I want to be sure my connection is never the issue
