Actually I love the ReadyNAS equipment, this is my second unit; however upon setting it up it would not create any home folders, no apps show up on the Apps page and any attempts to install apps manually fail.
Besides that, it feels snappy, the file transfers are fast, and the unit itself is pretty quiet
Plex and Transmission run well, though, and the unit is fast enough that having Gigabit Ethernet actually matters.

I think this is the most powerful feature in Netgear NAS, they have really put in some thoughts on how to protect data
The NAS is powerful enough to support 1080HD streaming, which is great entertainment feature, Plex supports most of the formats I use, so I no longer have to transfer files around to watch my movies
One very nice feature is all I had to do was to replace the drives in the same order and every setting was kept except for the IP address.
I do wish they can sync with Amazon S3, would be a good feature for business users who runs jobs or operates on
