The BHS-530 uses hard plastic for the unit housing, which feels less durable than the Backbeat Fit materials and construction

I just bought two more pairs because my last ones broke (they still play music with great quality, but the plastic in the center is broken and the plastic around where the flexible plastic meets the hard plastic on both ends is broken)

These headphones also have the more common soft plastic material type of earbud.

All headsets should have these instead of those hard plastic things

I love the firm plastic that connects the ear pieces, because I'm not hearing the wire banging against my neck.

The silicone tips that came with the headphones and the Comply Isolation tips (medium) that came with it as well didn't stop my ear from hurting.

Decided to change brands and so far I can tell the cord is a bit more flexible, there is a sound improvement, the outside finish is glossy instead of matte, when you turn them on, the female auto voice tells you the battery level (I found this feature pretty cool for prior brand a few times powered off in the middle of long rides for I forgot to charge them not realizing they had almost none battery left), and they already offered me a 6 month full warranty

I have a big head and the cord between sides is still a little loose

Only issue is I wish the back cord was adjustable, they are a little big around my head.

Only recommendation is a thinner cord on the back, but it’s really not a big deal.

Turned them on last week and the sound quality was low and muddy even at max volume- double checked all phone audio settings- after an email to Phaiser customer service, was instructed to do a "hard reset" by holding all the buttons....did not help

Fortunately the hard reset they suggested took care of the problem immediately.

The wrap around style and over the ear hooks not only eliminate annoying wires that would flop around every step you take, but also provide exceptional battery life

I like the product, its very comfortable for long periods of time, the only complaint is when using it to talk on the phone

They also have good sound and volume but they still let in enough outside noise for them to be safe for running outside around traffic; I can still keep my wits about me.

However, after a couple months I had a couple times where a loud screeching noise would come through and the headphones would disconnect

It does not block out all outside noise, also great for my purposes because I can hear traffic, etc.

Trust me the noise is pretty bad especially it will hurt your ears when you are wearing them.

I know that no noise can enter from outside and also this might improve quality of sound produced by the unit.

Wind noise on a bicycle could be an issue but not so much for runners or walkers.

I have received follow up emails with tips on the product and more than one assurance that the supplier wants to correct any issues I may have with the product.

Another issue I had when it was charged, I did not like the sound quality

I don't have problems with static, or pairing issues like I've dealt with in the past
