I like this router and have found the range of it to be much better than other models I have tried in the past.

So while this seems to be a pretty good router for basics, and I was able to get Internet access, print, etc., and the range seems great, there are a few things everyone should know:1
It has great range and I have great connection from anywhere in my home.
Great signal ,difficulty connecting old netgear with new one.
So I needed something that could put a strong signal out and allow for several devices at the same time.
Set up was easy and the signal is very strong through out my house.
Also had issues with a device (android tv box) 2 rooms away constantly losing signal with my previous wifi, and with this new one its great signal strength and no buffering.
This router gives us a steady, strong signal from end to end including the basement
Signal strength around the house is excellent with my devices pegged at a constant 300Mbps on 2.4GHz

Provides much faster internet speeds then some routers that internet companies try to sell you with their plans
The 900Mbps wireless speed is irrelevant and total marketing BS.
When it was 'working' normal websites would only partially load and never finish, speeds were insufficient to watch anything at a decent quality even if only one device was streaming.
I got this to replace my old router since my wi-fi speeds were dismal even sitting next to the router.
It maximizes our available internet speed and delivers it to the far corners of the house - very pleased!
With the app, its so simple to disable devices using your Wifi
Less than a year after purchasing this router the router became faulty, but only because I tried to update the firmware I would not suggest this to anyone looking for a reliable device.
Supports multiple devices being connected quite easily and without degrading the connection
And the 2ghz band for smart phones and other smart devices
My husband says this device is not secure - it does not have a secure admin connection.
