I could see this being a great starting entry-level "high-end" amp and having it so small and non-heat generating is a real bonus

Now a comfortable listening level is about 35 to 45 on the dial as expected

For my 675sf apartment a comfortable listening level was obtained at about 25 to 35 on the volume display with vintage 8 ohm JBLs

I use this system in my home office to play mostly classic rock, jazz, reggae and some classical music - the room size is 18 X 15 and the separation, imagery and clean sound fr the price is simply amazing

The Windows DEFAULT setting assumes that Dolby Digital will be decoded by your attached amplifier, however the DDA-100 is not capable of this
