This makes things look blurry, but otherwise text is not really readable

Desperately wanted crisper text when using external monitor with my MacBook Pro (mid 2014).

Bought this on sale on Prime Day, because I really wanted an external monitor for my 12" Retina Macbook (2017) that would give me crisp, clean text

One thing I love about the Retina display is that text and photos look like high resolution print: incredibly smooth with no noticeable pixelation at a standard viewing distance of > 1 foot

Windows 10 auto adjusted my fonts/text to 150% and that works well for me

At <$300, this monitor is a great value and the least expensive 4K IPS option from the major brands

I think this product has great value for what it offers

Pleased about that!Based on specs, I don't see that more expensive 27" monitors deliver value commensurate with their higher prices.

Other than that, this is a great value for a great monitor.

I like the small size because I use it for video editing, as well, so the resolution crammed into the tiny 24" works good when doing any graphic design work, and just makes everything look crisp and clear, even if it's a 1080 source upscaling to 4k

The screen split software works well too - but I mostly use the WIndows 10 side by side split.

Cheapest 4K monitor I could buy works well for the PS4 Pro and I use my Switch on it as well.

My AmazonBasics HDMI 2.0 cable works very well with every device I tested, but the monitor still shows a popup complaining about it

The monitor works great, and the picture is nice, but it isn't smart enough to switch to an active input source on its own

The picture exaggerates the problem, but it's easily visible in dark settings

it is nice but controls for picture are limited and picture quality is not exceptional

Poor quality on inferior resolutions, when i'm playing demanding games and wanna get better fps, i downgrade resolution, but this monitor have terrible aspect on lower resolution than 4k.

The resolution on this is really amazing (which I expected from a 4K)

NOT HDMI)- Well designed on screen menu, I like the single button and joystick in one for choosing, navigating the menu, rather than most monitors that have 6+ buttons on them.- Fast enough response times for gaming unless you're some hard-core competitive gamer that can only exist with a 1ms response display

The screen size is great, the design felt good, and the aesthetic look is a nice touch

Coming from a 7-8 year old 1080p monitor (also LG), this is very well designed and did not have any dead or overbright pixels when I tested it.

I couldn't find an auto-detect input mode.- All 3 units I tried had poor color consistency across the screen

I've used DisplayPort at 60Hz with no issues, unlike my Samsung U28E590D monitors which periodically lost the signal

I bought this monitor for my Xbox one x and it has played well on all games with no feel of any input lag.

The only issue I have with mine is a slight backlight bleed on the bottom of the screen right in the middle

in to half split the problem and it looked dark as well.

Mine does not have any bad backlight bleed or any problems at all.

The photo in this review was taken with the exposure reduced, generally people don't reduce the exposure to exaggerate the problem

Turning it off is a bit tricky--push the button in then pull forward, or just hold the button in.

Response time is a bit difficult to track down, but I've seen it listed as 5 ms, which is more than enough for PC gaming

The settings are easy to navigate, it does take bit of messing around to get the perfect picture, but other than that, no real complaints

A bit annoying (it's white on black so quite visible), but you rarely look directly at the edge of a monitor anyway.2
