The "cups" selection dial took some time to figure out since it isn't really a great way to know how much coffee you'll end up grinding

When talking to my favorite baristas, they always tell me the size/coarseness of the beans impacts the flavor and that "THE BEST WAY" to extract the flavor and ensure uniform grind iswait for it....a handgrinder

Love the different grind settings.

Like that I can have different settings.

The settings make it super convenient.

I tried finer and finer settings and finally got a grind that is marginally acceptable for french press, but the setting is almost as far down as it will go, and there are still large pieces mixed in

It looks great, excellent quality, stylish and functional design, sturdy components and works like a charm

I removed the hopper and the top plate around the opening (careful not to lose the screws and the trigger peg and spring), then popped off the rubber "feet" on the bottom and unscrewed the bottom cover to dump out the trapped grounds

Unfortunately, taking the hopper off to clean the burrs (after unplugging the unit) seems to be the only way to get it back to working order.

Would not be bad but hopper broke off top of grinder tube and had to glue back together if I could get new hopper that would be nice

Both of these exhibited a specific issue -- the clear, plastic hopper on top will simply pop off and give the appearance the entire unit is dead.

The second coffee grinder does work but it is extremely loud when grinding the coffee!!

The grinder does produce a significant amount of noise as does any grinder

needs cleaning often - also does not grind fine enough for espresso coffee

Bought this for coarse grinding coffee for a french press, it does a nice job but creates a lot of very fine particles

So it does a great job grinding but the design flaw makes it messy

It still made a bit of a mess but did a good job and the guys loved them

Loved the coffee grinder unfortunately it was put on something hot & melted after just a few minutes

This coffee grinder worked great for 2 years and 9 months of running 10 cups at medium grind at least twice a week

Worked fine for less than a year then one day just stopped

One day it will slow down considerably then just stop working.

But now it's like a new big pile every day

We make cold brew coffee every day and this grinder works perfect!

We have used it every day since Dec. 6, 2017 and it still works like new.

It had to be small enough to tuck under my cabinets on the countertop, my top price was $100, and I wanted something that wouldn't look big and bulky on the countertop.

We've had this grinder for less than a year--it was a good price

We decided to purchase another one since the price was great and the first unit had worked quite well for a while.

It has been reliable for me for years, however and the price is hard to beat if you want to start with a burr grinder instead of a blade grinder

The thing "leaks" from either side.

Will update in the future to see how sturdy this thing is, but honestly, it has been great so far.

Basically, due to the need to clean things up every time, it's not something you'd want to use every time you go to make a cup of coffee

I’ll set it to 8 cups and it doesn’t even grind enough beans for a 6 cup pot

I make my coffee in a percolator and I need my beans to be extra fine for my perfect cup

Fresh beans with oils seem to be unfriendly and the burr's grinding mechanism doesn't seem to want to move.

My son loves a great cup of coffee with fresh ground beans.

if I want to grind a whole bag it will do it in one sitting

I just hate having limp half full bags of beans in my cupboard

Bought this July 27th, used it to grind two bags of 2 lbs of coffee and now doesn’t work.

I finally took it apart and found the entire bottom portion filled with grinds - about a bag’s worth

We make cold brew coffee every day and this grinder works perfect!

Had been using it weekly to coarse grind beans, 5 cups of beans at a time, to make cold brew.

Followed instructions to a tee and still came up with an uneven grind and a weak, underextracted brew for a four cup pot- medium grind for flat bottom filter

We used this on average once a week to grind 12 oz of beans (3 cycles) for our cold brew Toddy

This results in a very rich cup, drip brew, + grass fed milk

It'll probably kill the motor at some point, but 3-4 years of running is not an issue.

We love this grinder but find ourselves replacing it every year just after the warranty expires!

i've burned out two of these--the first lasted a year, the second lasted about 5mo.

and since its been over a year no support

Naturally, the warranty expired in March (1 year after purchase) while I was still in Afghanistan.

This problem was NOT seemingly caused by condensation, as the company suggests, but a design flaw in the machine .

So it does a great job grinding but the design flaw makes it messy

The only issue is that the beans get hung up

As others have said this item has issues and not worth throwing money away.

The biggest issue is minor but annoying over time

There's also the static issue: the ground coffee has so much static buildup that it clings to the sides of the plastic cup it gets spit into
