The website for the router's management Interface failed to load even after booting into recovery per D-Link support.

I've had Wireless-N and Wireless-G D-Link routers that worked great, but ever since I moved to AC, I've only had issues
It has never caused any connectivity issues, is solid as a rock, and offers ridiculously blazing fast throughput
When working, throughput is excellent for 5ghz devices, but signal dropout on 2.5ghz is too much of an issue to warrant purchasing this particular router

Coverage was no better than my three year old router
Because of their mumbling and tenuous at best grasp of English, neither of us understood each other most of the time) only to still have WiFi that was as slow as or slower than the 8 year old modem it was replacing.
An old 802.11g router works just fine with all of these devices.

The router is decent: it's quick to get started, and seems to have decent range and speed, as advertised.
(make sure you change the Wi-Fi channel if you get super slow speeds after set up) Was able to download a 20GB game while watching a movie on line without any issues buffering for the movie or a slower download rate for the game.
I will say that one of the main reasons for getting this router is because TWC, now Spectrum has a habit of slowing down my Internet speed towards the end of my billing cycle
This D-Link AC2600 gives me the fastest speeds I've gotten in a contested wireless network and the AC1900 still provides more speed if your devices support MU-MIMO.As desktop and laptop

The settings are stock on the router besides a name change and password change, maybe the "smart" wifi settings that combine the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz under one name might be causing an issue since WLAN is working just fine, I will check for any updates and see of it works for more than a day

I would not hesitate to recommend this router for anyone looking to get top performance for a relatively low price.
I've used dozens of wired and wireless broadband routers over the years and while nearly all of them had poor UIs and convoluted setups, the thing that made me pull my hair out the most was inconsistent performance

I restarted it multiple times, reset it, manually downloaded and installed the firmware from D-Links website, but the connection was still dropping randomly as well as having just terrible overall performance when it would connect

This router got strong independent ratings, but it had a very weak signal and couldn't reach parts of my house compared to my previous 4 year old router.

this was a defective unit, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next router.
There are some significant differences in features however that lead me to prefer the Linksys model, although another user may prefer this unit for exactly the reasons I’m not particularly enthusiastic about it
