The quality of the prints is not to bad and this is a duplex printer (prints both sides of paper) which is a very nice paper saving feature.
The best feature is you can print from most any device you have with ease
but I believe this is because it will print right up to the edges of the page - a very nice feature the kids made good use of with a school project.

Setup for a private home network was done wirelessly from one of the computers and the printer was then usable by all the networked computers without any further setup needed

Now receive message "There is a problem with the printhead" and HP Support says the pinter requires replacement

I again had to call Tech Support who completed the wireless installation.

After 80 minutes on the phone with tech support, explaining the situation to three different people, the last of whom would not honor my request to speak to a supervisor, they say they are sending yet another one -- the 4th.

So now I'm out the cost of a new cartridge on top of a junk printer that I've used about a dozen times
After looking at about 200 different printers, comparing more, features & prices, I chose this one because it had the best price & used the same cartridges as my old one that died
Ink cartridges for this printer are fairly expensive and it seems like it doesn't work as well using off brand cartridges
Now my printer won't print anything and running diagnostics and level 3 cleaning reports which are printing in black and color ink just fine and are using up what little ink I have.

After months of not being able to print, I really needed to print some papers, so I went and bought the genuine HP brand cartridges here on Amazon for $79.99, more than what I paid for this printer.
Now the only cartridges it will accept are genuine HP cartridges.
The initial replacement was easy to set up, although it caused me to have to toss some partially used, and quite expensive, ink cartridges (you must use "setup" cartridges when you replace a printer) .
Both failed with lite usage and using HP genuine cartridges

Would have gave 5 stars except for the ink cartridges only had enough ink for set up and buying ink cost as much as the printer.
And, I lost another set of partialy used, and quite expensive, ink cartridges.
With the new software updates, HP checks to see if the chip on your ink cartridges are authentic HP ink cartridges

After 6 months of use, it has decided it has a permanent paper jam -- with no paper visible in it.
The documentation is useless; there is no description of how to open the unit to find a paper jam, no description of the indicator light patterns that mean a paper jam, no indication of where the sensor might be...
We only used 1 print cartridge in the printer and shortly after installing the second cartridge we got a paper jam without any paper in the track
I'm not sure how the printer decides there is a paper jam

I think I printed about four documents successfully (after LOTS of messing about to get decent output) and now there's a "incompatible print head" error
