I purchased the QC 30 from my local Bose store a few days ago and have already been using them during my daily commutes on the DC Metro as well as in the office (where I sit in a cube farm next to some loud salespeople on the phones all day).
I like this a lot as you don't have to take off the headphones and then put back on--you can just detach the earbuds and let 'em dangle until you need to stick 'em in your ear again

This is useless for making a call, as there is sever background noise sent out, to the extent that every one complains that they cannot hear you clearly.
