The stories of poor build quality of Joyo pedals is backed up by what I found - I have an American Sound pedal and this also has a DC power socket that is not central with the hole in the casing (plug can't be inserted)
Produces Vox AC30 like sounds, is very well built and has many many different tones that sound pretty darn good for such an inexpensive pedal
This pedal is great, it was inexpensive, sounds fantastic, is well built and the controls function like they are supposed too
That being said, it is well built and has a good bluesy overdrive sound
Its well built, sounds good and the price is unbeatable.
it has nice tone dynamics going on inside of it , very nice as a clean boost and also a great overdrive
Gives nice sustain to both clean and dirty notes and when you bump up the volume knob on the pedal, you can use it as a clean boost
Works great as a clean boost or as straight up overdrive
My setup is a very simple one...starting with a Stratocaster to compressor, wah-wah, super-overdrive, boost pedal, delay, then straight into the front end of a tube amp with reverb & vibrato
Most "Marshall-in-a-box" stomps, imo, sound much tamer than a real Marshall, and they give you a "prettied-up", safer version of that sound, in order to appease the 15-year-old Children Of Boredom/Cannibal Corpse lame-o neo-hippies the scene is now infested with
Recommend to anyone who is interested in a good product with a good price.
I couldn't recommend anything else by Behringer though as the other products I've used made by them were crap.
good product , fast delivery, good seller, definitely recommend to a friend
Just save up for a used tube screamer this product is worthless
I wouldn't even give this one star if Amazon let me, I ordered this product twice in the last week and both times this pedal was broken when I took it out of the box
If you're looking for your first cheap distortion pedal, forget the Boss DS-1 and get this one!
this pedal has a great distortion tone, and would be good as a stand alone distortion, if not a tube-ifyer
This pedal is not a hard core distortion but even with the gain rolled all the way off it still adds a good amount of break up to a clean channel with guitar volume up all the way and medium to hard picking
The distortion is very weak and the controls are limited
I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone considering a cheap distortion pedal
The thing sounds great with a tube amp, and offers an array of sounds that can be heard just by tweaking the pedal
- I'm not sure how this thing is available at the price it is.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing, and it's certainly better than having no headroom to set the pedal louder (a frequent criticism of the BOSS DS-1), but it's something to be aware of
Maybe I was lucky but this thing is great for the price.
The great thing about the JOYO pedals is you can buy 4-6 for the same price of one boutique pedal
Just as good as other compressor pedals that cost three times as much!
It's a great pedal - subtle, low-noise compressor suitable for electric guitar or bass
Good compressor at a fraction of the cost of its competitors
Great compressor for the money, it doesn't have a much control as a 100.00 plus pedal would probably have but sounds great
I'm not familiar with more expensive compressors and how they might be noticeably better, but this one sounds exactly how I would expect a compressor to work.
PriceRangeSoundCons:9V Battery only, it would be nice if you could plug it in, otherwise you must be conscientious of your battery useOverall great product so far, well worth the price, and a lot of fun, I will be purchasing one for myself!
At this extremely affordable price it's hard to pass by such a great petal billed as an OCD clone this pedal does not sound quite as good as the Fulltone petal but is extremely usable and excellent sounding t in my opinion
" Definitely not plastic EXCEPT for the chintzy battery compartment cover
If you leave the input cable plugged in, it WILL consume power and it will run the battery dead in just 2 days
I only found that out after replacing the dead battery that it comes with, and plugging in to a power supply (not provided with unit).
Battery or 9v power, footswitch is a nice click that is easy to feel, design is cheesy but not overly cheesy
At this extremely affordable price it's hard to pass by such a great petal billed as an OCD clone this pedal does not sound quite as good as the Fulltone petal but is extremely usable and excellent sounding t in my opinion
It's also built pretty solidly, with a nice thick metal box and footswitch
Footswitch is nice and solid and feels like your standard boutique true bypass switch.
(as you turn it clock wise) - I like it for adding charcater/punch to my live
and I don't think they would hold up to much use over time but mine will be hard wired on a pedal board.
(as you turn it clock wise) - I like it for adding charcater/punch to my live
Loose wires and bad components were everywhere on the board
As cheap as it is even 2 are cheaper than buying what it was copied from....the jacks are super cheap as is the switch and the wiring is not so hot, but for the price you cant really beat it...
Problem with mine was it would cut in and out kinda like a loose wire to a car speaker if that makes sense
Construction is first rate and there is absolutly no hum, hiss, loss of signal, nor any excessive coloring of your signal
Otherwise you end up compressing the processed signal, including any extra hiss or noise the other pedals make.
Bad: Adds a little noise & hiss specially to single coils (strats & teles).
It really is unusable creates a horrible hiss and feedbacks so bad I couldn't even play
This delay was quite " no extra hiss" and sounded very good to my ears with just enough repeats to go into ocolation, if I want, and plenty of time option to play with

D-SEED is a very flexible delay pedal, with build-in TAP Tempo function, which can be independently operated at any moment to change delay time without too many mode switching
Moreover, D-SEED has dual channels (presets); each can separately save its own chosen delay time, as well as other relevant parameters, so you have different delay effects to polish your music when necessary
The maximum delay time of D-SEED is 6 seconds (under TAP TEMPO mode), and it meets requirement of most players.
