Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Soun... - 2024 report by Whydis
Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound, Wireless Headphones with Microphone
Logitech wireless gaming headset g930. a fast wireless connection lets you level up without being tied down-and 7.1 surround sound puts you right in the middle of the action.
I contacted logitech support to try and get assistance, and instead I was met with silence
i love the headset but will never deal with logitech support again/
That update is basically required for this headset to function on Windows 10.The worse part is when I contact Logitech support about the issue I was completely ignored
if your buyi g this for a ps4 don't it is garbage
So I emailed Logitech support and explained the issue, hoping to get a replacement receiver
Great noise canceling, awesome mic and mute feature, good range, however they have not stood the test of time nor the best indication of usage (battery life).First
The surround sound is fantastic and they have good range.
Not great on comfort, and the wireless range is terrible, less than 20 ft
They also have a decent range of about 45ft from the receiver, but suffer a bit when passing through walls or will cut off for a few seconds if moving too fast
My experiences seem to limit the range to around 30 or so feet.7.1 Surround sound is great and works as advertised
This is a serious problem, because it interrupts my conversations and subsequently interrupts my work
The microphone quality is excellent compared to the cheap work-provided headset I had been using previously
1x wireless usb has failed and dose not work both are in perfect physical condition
The microphone because loose and would not stand up about 3 weeks after opening, then a week later, the microphone mute butotn also stopped working, the light still goes on when the microphone should be muted, but it isn't muted
The sound quality is great, and the wireless works quite far from the computer
Decent sound but awkward power button and the fact that all of the padding on the ears and the head cushioning is disintegrating into billions of little pieces all over me
The button you use the most is the hardest to press because it is small and recessed, I don't know why.
Can't use the buttons to make/hang up calls, volume roller doesn't work any more, Doesn't hold a charge for more than a few hours (wait, make that sometimes as little as 15 min). Finally, after a little over a
I like the convenience of no wires, but seriously, what's the point if you get disconnected at random times with a sluggish at best power button that doesn't always turn it back on.
I loved the quality of the sound and the buttons on the headset, but it's a cheaply made product.
I downgraded my logitech drivers, but the problem was still there
The drivers don't work well with Windows; sometimes they do not initialize on startup
Plus there is an add-on in the Logitech software after downloading the correct drivers to alter your voice.
I would give these a 4 out of 5 if it weren't for the terrible drivers but since Logitech does not want to address the disconnect issues and the software/driver problems they can secure a 2 from me.
It's not a driver's issues because again I've had it 2 years and updated many a time when other headsets broke on me
There was a loud static noise and it just shut off for good
but with it the random crackling, loud beeping noise it makes for minutes on end that my friends can also hear when we are
It has this annoying static noise that will happen once every 5 minutes or so
After a few months, it suddenly made a loud noise and won't turn on anymore
The sound quality was amazing and the mic is clear with great noise cancellation, I could open a bag of chips in front of me and no one would hear over voice chat
Seems like they just get wireless interference and lose their signal
Even after being on the market for a few years, the Logitech G930 still has intermittent signal interruptions
being average)-Three "G" function buttons, great for music listening!Cons:-Expensive dongle replacement-Three "G" function button aren't fully programmable
The USB stick can go haywire and randomly lose the signal
I love the 3 buttons on top as you can use them to cycle through music or can supposedly program them for other uses
The replacement has had the same problem as the first one which includes, but is not limited to, crazy amounts of feedback that escalates in volume before turning into a staccato version of the same sound
Almost 1/4 of the people who own this headset get this problem, and Logitech REFUSES to fix it or even address its existence
Aside from my original wired USB Logitech headset, this is the only other one that I have owned problem free for this length of time
One problem, weird crackly sound when I slightly bend the headset to put on my head
The problem is intermittent too which makes it hard to fix since every "fix" needs a day to find out if it worked
First one had its problems, very few connectivity issues, had trouble charging correctly sometimes..
Everyone has connectivity issues and crackling sounds when they charge while using the headset
It has some connectivity issues, but all in all it's a solid pick
Even if the mic didn't break I was still having problems with the wireless connection dropping out at random times and then taking a few seconds to reconnect
Since day one, I've had major connectivity issues, and they've gotten worse over the life (such as it is) of the headset
