My home network has a lot of devices, from security cameras to smart devices and my 8 bay Synology NAS box, a cloud device, many PC's and a media center computer tied into my TV.
If you're just a normal person looking for a way to secure your network, I'd say keep going since this is just a catastrophic device fail for Symantec...
I like that it includes a 1-year Norton Security subscription for unlimited devices
From 940Mbps to 32Mbps is a poorly designed device and it is defective straight out of the box.
I have a windows phone and all my devices are windows needless to say I wasn't to happy about that

The slight additional delay when opening a browser or visiting an unfamiliar site would be worth the delays, IF the Core were not so generally unstable as described above
Overall if you are concerned with security and want something easy to set up that just works I would definitely recommend the Core.
I rely on Norton and the Core simply reinforces my trust

This WiFi Router works in conjunction with your modem and makes security very easy to accomplish
It's nice to be able to monitor the network from my phone including how many devices are on the network, the security score, any potential threats and what the speed is at any given time.
This device does it all and makes security very easy to accomplish
so I appreciate the added security that the Norton Core Secure router has provided
The one reason I have stayed away from Norton products since the 80`s still hampers them now

Once this router replaces your old one, you can no longer access the devices that are set to static addresses
No Big deal, but at the time, there was NO way to set up a static IP address for devices aside from setting up a port forwarding rule, which kind of breaks the idea of a router if I have to open ports to get a static IP,

This is totally unacceptable because when the connection is dropped (often in the middle of the night), my smart home - one of the main reasons for a secure router in the first place - also stops working (i.e., also in the middle of the night.)I’m going to give it a few weeks and see if the issue is resolved by further software updates

It seems to slow down sites considerably, perhaps scanning content as it is streaming
I had a few CORE alerts that my computer had attempted to contact suspicious sites and these were blocked.
It seems that sites deemed suspicious and blocked on my computer were not being blocked on my iPhone.
Well, started with a site here and there, would refuse to load, sites that I use on a daily basis, now if the Core decided to block a site would be a prompt on the screen informing you that the site was blocked, with an option to override

Two threats from bad websites have been blocked to date
The app also shows you when the device's firmware has been updated and what threats have been blocked
Have had issues with some websites getting blocked, but feel much better with the added security protection
my speed, how many threats have been blocked; I can easily create a guest network for when friends come over (it’s already come in handy!)
