Easy setup, good print quality, compact size, great price, good for personal or family use.
Setup was easy and the print quality in grayscale is excellent.
It works great with my hp laptop, setup was a breeze very easy to use, and i love the ease of the touch screen buttons on it !!!
The setup was easy and it is small enough to fit on the shelf above her desk.
I returned this for two reasons: the tray for the printed sheets is narrow and flimsy so papers fall off; and the setup was made difficult by HP pushing you to sign up for their automatic ink delivery.

and I have wasted a good deal of ink when the app doesn't remember my settings and messes up the print when I did use the wifi.
Instant Ink is a good deal for me as well, since I run an online business from home and have to print shipping labels; I'm spending less on ink now with this program
Still - overall it was a great deal for this printing (plus scanning & copying) ability!
But do note that once you upgrade to a paid plan (and paid plan isn't a bad deal at all, and comes with 3 months of paid plan free
I purchased this printing thinking it was a good deal compared to others

The fourth mobile device was an Android phone, and after considerable “sledgehammer cybernetics”, it too connected to the printer, and produced a lovely, high quality, color picture… but very slowly
Black & white quality is really excellent; color is OK -- not perfect, but I was printing on general purpose inkjet paper, not photo paper, and it was fine for my use.
I just wished it would have used the same ink my other printer did as I had just opened up all four colors when my printer died on me
This is the perfect little color printer at just the right price for small printing needs
I was plesantly surprised and the the quality of the printing, black and white as well as color is wonderful.

When printing this printer constantly pulls all the paper in paper tray at once and jams the printer, it will not feed one item at a time
The first one we purchased started to malfunction immediately (the wireless printing was constantly getting disrupted), and the paper feed roller started to malfunction after about 1 month
I have literally installed a new ink cartridge and proceeded to run out of ink trying to print out a single document due to missing pages, duplicated pages, not printing double sided despite selecting double sided, paper jams cancelling the entire printing halfway through, wifi disconnects, etc
Wireless, fast, does copying, scanning, and faxing as well as printing
It is a bit noisier printing than I would like but all in all, I am pleased with the purchase.

This product works just fine no problems installing wireless features work and printer and scan operations good does not use a lot ink like most printers.
Total lemon, perhaps just a defective product, but not a good experience either way
Please HP, stop making printers because your products are a joke, they are garbage

The fact that the company is monitoring me for whatever reason makes me uncomfortable.
It's the number one reason that I, and countless others, regard printers only as a necessary evil.
The only way to print with this machine was to turn it off and on again, then print what I needed as fast as I could before it lost connection
The one thing I don’t like and the reason I gave it four stars instead of five was they have a lease sell the ink club when you are setting up the printer
It can be used for photo printing, but you will not get results as good as with an actual photo printer or higher resolution scanner.

I wasted almost 3 hours today with HP support trying to get this printer to work with my computer...only to discover that the wireless function does not work with university wifi (any wifi that is more than just password protected, e.g. logging into an account or checking a box in a user agreement)

multiple problems with printer losing power and having to unplug and replug in to reboot.
It stays connected to the wifi (unlike other wireless printers I've dealt with), and it automatically reconnects to the network when I lose power or turn it off and back on
The black ink was missing completely, and the multi-color ink was improperly installed in the printer causing an awful racket when I first powered it on
It would take hours plus a miracle to get it to network and whenever the power was interrupted or I had to turn the router off the networking was worse than the last time.

Literally had this printer 3 months and jan first 2018 it error coded and locked up in a boot loop even after hard reset
I could print from my laptop and everything would go to the printer queue and then print when I did a hard reset.
At first, once it went to sleep I couldn't connect to it again until I did a hard reset.

Now I am searching through HP's support website to find a phone number to contact support which is no where to be found.
In my opinion the owner's manual (or at least the HP web page) should HEADLINE a phone number to the HP help desk IN THE USA, with a technician ready and able to help you push the right buttons
My initial frustrations with the first computer had me searching for a phone number to call a help desk, and after several minutes of searching I found a number and made a call, and, well, you guessed it, I hooked up with somebody who had considerable knowledge of the printer but only rudimentary knowledge of the King's English
The phone number I had to call for instructions did not know any more than I did about how to install the printer.
